Thats what I don't get either we were able to chat fine. Get in the game and does it work? Nope.... I got to play this game for about 3 minutes online. This will be just like Unreal. People will get sick of trying and we will never get to play.

Lets see first night I played with Ill and Bagels no problems had a blast, second night some maintince being done didnt get to play, third night cant get Badmoons mic to work and cant stay connected long enough to finish a game and I know I wasnt the only one having that problem as people would drop while they were running in front of me.

That's another thing I love about the PS3. If you go more than a couple of days w/o doing a system update you can't log in until you do ANOTHER update

Weird, I tried to get into MGSO 3 times last night and there wasn't an update.

I was gonna try and get a few games in this morning before work and when I turned my PS3 on it said there was a new update to download. Like I said I hope it fixes the issuse with this game I loved the single player and the online will be fun when all of us can get together to play.

If you were on the network before Sony put up the update, it wouldn't ask you to update until you turned your PS3 off.

This update is to fix software compatibility and gameplay issues with A LOT of games, so i'm sure it will fix the issue.

I didn't have an issue on MGS online last night though, so that's weird.

Next release will be the one with the in game XMB! Been confirmed.

And Kain, you won't notice anything off the bat. But if you had games that had problems, this probably fixes some of those problems.

Also, remember guys, this is just a small update to pave the way for the big update, which is just around the corner. They said the next update will be very soon, so we won't have to wait like we normally would. I'd say we have it by 4th of July.
