Mezco 15" Sam from Trick R Treat

Weathering isnt very good and the hands are a huge fail.
Other than that looks ok.

He's actually dirtier looking than what shows up in the pics. The hands are ok but I wish they were actually wrapped in burlap like on the proto. He is able to hold the sucker properly in his right hand though, which is an improvement over the original.
I forgot that the SSC version came with a stand, which isn't a necessity but is still a nice touch.

Looks great. I made the mistake of ordering direct from Mezco, who took the payment over 10 days ago and it still has not shipped yet.

They notified me that they were charging me on October 4th and still haven't shipped the damn thing.

I got burned on everything I've ordered direct from them...last one was the LDD Exorcist. Took a full 2 weeks before they shipped out. Never again.

Sam is freaking great! No complaints here I am going to weather him more and wrap his hands in burlap but that's it. The sculpt underneath is really nice

Yes they did. The buttons used for the eyes are different too, which is why the eye X's aren't as prominent on the production piece. Also dissapointing.

Now that I'm looking at the promo pictures I don't think his hands wherever sculpted or wrapped in burlap I think they just stuck the excess burlap down onto his hands that came off the cuff. Also the stitching is a smile it's all on how you pose the burlap sack on his head

Yup, the proto never had 'gloves'.

I was on about the blood on the fingers looking bad.
