Well, I'm finally back in America and after what seems like waiting FOREVER I finally finally finally have the PX in hand.
I got it from gohastings for $85 plus shipping. For the headache it was to get this thing, it was worth the slight mark-up. Canceled my pre-order in Japan that I've had since November. I don't think they're ever getting this figure in.
So, finally got the figure over a YEAR after pics of it were unveiled. And I really like it. A LOT. I was lucky...no QC problems with paint or the suit. I was surprised by how nice the blue looks in hand. Pictures tend to make it look too bright, but it's a little more subtle in person. I suppose I'd have preferred it to be a bit darker like the PRCC version, but this one will do.
Next week I'll finally get a look at my Mezco Ex version too. Not sure I'm going to keep it though. I really feel like my bases are covered with the regular black one and the blue one. I also dug out my old DCD figures. Superman still looks really nice, but they don't look "right" together of course. But I AM bringing Robin, the street lamp, the broken helmet, the Kryptonite arrow, and the ugly doll to go with my DKR display. And also the Eaglemoss DKR Batmobile too of course!
Feels awesome to FINALLY have this eagerly awaited figure!!
