You guys realize it's based off of the original Shazam with the big collar and no hood right?

The new 52 Shazam has the hood

Notice both have collars but only ones has a hood. Also if you look the New 52 design has more of a traditional cape look with having two spots for it to connect one on each shoulder where as the other one has a color that drapes across the front of his neck

First time I ever see people complaining about a figure not being close enough to New 52.

I got a question for those of you who have Shazam or Flash in hand: I noticed in the videos and pics that the cloth at the crotch seems to fit kinda "low". Is it something that can be corrected? I'm still on the fence about getting these figures, have not seen any in person yet.

Just got Shazam in today, gotta say he's one of my favorites so far. Only thing I don't like is that his hood isn't really a hood.

It's not a hood, it's the classic suit, it's not supposed to be a hood, it's a collar.

Just got my Shazam/Captain Marvel today. I gotta say when Mezco lays off of the Mez-flair and does a classic character true to its roots they REALLY nail it! This guy and the Flash are two perfect examples! Blown away!

....and yes for the record this is the classic collar and not the more modern hooded version.

I cringe whenever someone tries to put it as a hood :

I can't wait for mines, but it won't be until I ship my loot.

I'm worried about the pants, I've seen some figures that seem to have cholo pants, like the crotch area has way too much fabric, how's yours? And do the boots swivel?

Fixed that for you

My Shazam, opened last night, is also amazing. The boots do swivel. The crotch fabric is the only shortcoming. I can't get it to not hang low unless I pose him with a leg up. But this is the best figure since TDKR in my opinion. Definitely getting Black Adam!

I've been getting mixed responses about the boot swivel, one dude told me it doesn't, and you tell me it does, so I take it it gets stuck and I'm gonna need to warm it up?

Is the belt attached all around? Or could it be separated to make it hang lower?

Black Adam also looks gorgeous.
