well here what i got when i took it off ,i should have heated it up first but didnt and the pegs that hold the s on snapped of

this is what was underneath

easily covered with a vinyl s i had lying around ,will do until i get a comic accurate one

but here is the way the front and back die cast chest looks unpainted

as i said if may have just been a one off ,the other one im expecting has not arrived yet ,

if you missed out on the original this "remastered " their word not mine version is great for $46 delivered imo

Based on your pics, I actually feel like the armor sits better on the body with yours. I have 2 of the official Mez versions and I'm considering picking up this up.

yeah i agree ,when i saw in hand pics of the mezco i thought the proportions were off ,so much so that i lost interest in buying one

on the bright side you should have no problem selling yours if you want to and make a bunch of $$$s doing so

quick update

second Armored bats arrived ,die cast chest still not painted or very lightly painted ,figure seems a little darker than my first ,i like it looks great like the hot toys black chrome version could be lightened with a little dry brushing

What did you do, cut the undies off the Chris Reeve Neca figure? I mean I assume so, but wanted to verify. Looks nice, does it hamper articulation?

Also, what are the chances that there will be bootlegs of or re-releases of Shazam and Classic Superman? I missed both of these. Shazam I dragged my feet too long, on Supes I wanted to see reviews and by the time they hit, he was gone faster than a speeding bullet

As far as I know they don't do re-releases.

Your best bet for Shazam is to ask for it in the One 12 collectors and One 12 collective collectors FB groups, I've seen Shazam pop up at retail price a few times, if you're lucky you could get Supes too, but not at retail.

I picked up my Shazam on Ebay for $68 new back in August. The buy it now listings are $95-$100. Pretty sure it goes for less in an auction.

If you're patient enough, people will put up a figure you want for a great price. That's what I did. Took me a few months to catch up on the line, but I didn't overpay for any of the figures.
