Damn, everyone seems to be selling out of the Black and Gray. Urban Collector, Entertainment Earth, Toywiz has one up for the ridiculous price of $109 + shipping. And Amazon shows backordered....it says in stock on March 7th, but I wonder if they'll actually be able to fulfill orders coming in now...

They said Carrie Kelley was unlikely cause there's little opportunity to reuse that type of body.

I would feel much happier if DC was to be their primary focus.......but then I guess one:12 isn't all about me

I don't see why they can't give superman, and another figure at the same time--that way they could satisfy both groups, or just the dc group with a two figure releases

I finally caved and preordered the light blue previews from BBTS. I never was really into TDKR graphic novel but I must say I'm pretty excited for this figure! All the reviews and pictures just look great and I just watched the animated movie from this and has made me a fan. Hope BBTS gets it this week!

So what's the hold up on the exclusives. I know the dock strike debacle. But Mezco said at Toyfair that all three versions have arrived at the docks since January.

Amazon has a decent price but I don't like how they don't except Paypal credit even with Prime members like myself

Glad to see that all versions of this seem to be selling well! All the more reason for Mezco to continue the TDKR line!

Even with the dock hold-up...you guys will already be "bored" with yours by the time I get mine. One of the pitfalls of living in Japan. It's awesome for getting MP Transformers first and cheapest....but a loooong wait for American toys and with much higher price tags.

(Which is insane considering they're all made in Asia anyway....shouldn't we get them sooner here?)

Yeah that must suck, but be thankful you can get it at least. I read Mezco doesn't even ship to some countries, that's just really bad.

Well I pre-ordered the two regular versions from a Japanese store called toysapiens which is Hot Toys' official distributor in Japan. They also import a lot of American stuff too, but, as always, at a mark up.

So Batman was 9800 yen on toysapiens but a whopping 13,000 yen on amazon japan! Crazy! So I happily placed my pre-order with them.

They also get SDCC exclusives sometimes at fairly reasonable prices. I got the Star Wars Black Boba Fett and Carbonite for 6800 yen when it first came out, so that was a steal.

As for the Exclusive Mezco version? I just had a friend in the States order one for me and I'll get it later this year when I visit home. So I have "peace of mind" there.

And the Black and White version? I've resigned myself to never owning it. It really is awfully similar to the regular version anyway, but we all know what it's like to have that completist/OCD voice in our head saying "You don't have them ALLLL!!! Your collection is incomplete!!"

Plus like I said in the review... If you really NEED to have one, you could just repaint the mouth & belt on a standard version.

There is no way the B & W version is worth the ebay prices. No gun, no flight stand. Unless you can get it for a decent price

Sallah, are the suits on both the B&W exclusive and the Black and Grey regular of the same shade of grey (oops)? On some pictures it appears that the one on the B&W is much lighter, but it could just be me.

btw Sallah....thanks to your pics I've decided to dig my old DCD Robin out of storage. It really does make a great "accessory" to the figure. I have the single carded version, not the boxed set one in your pics, and I kinda prefer the original colors. Just a bit brighter.

I could see a SLIGHT increase in that figure's value in the next few months as more collectors decide to display them together. She also came with the street lamp, so it really would compliment the Mezco Batman nicely.

Also wondering when people are going to realize Eaglemoss made a Dark Knight Returns style Batmobile last year. It's not in scale of course, but it's the only toy I'm aware of that's ever been made of it. That's another one that's waiting for me in storage in America at my parents' place. Definitely gonna be in my new DKR display.

So Carrie Kelley Robin, the Bat tank, and the Mezco exclusive version are waiting for me. Gonna be a loooong wait til summer when I visit and I can pick those up!!

OMG! Can't believe I held out for this long. I figured I'd just pick it up once it was in stock. Now it looks like the dark blue and grey is sold out online. Anyone have any suggestions on where to pre order the dark blue and grey?

And repaint the stand. There are under 100 of the B&W and they were given out at an event the public isn't allowed to go to... that's why its going for a lot. And it does seem the white is lighter than the gray on the suit but it is kind of hard to tell for sure.

Yea, I follow you, but amazon also allows you to use Amex points , or chase visa points-- to apply towards the purchase, so with that and the expedited 2-day shipping, it becomes a very reasonable option. For me, shipping from bbts takes about 1wk(which is not bad,but much longer then 2days). I'm sure, some members on this site experience much longer shipping times--I in no way want to be insensitive on the matter.
