Both look creepy, but the figure does look creepier.

I totally understand it though, I go a few weeks or months saying I don't really need something in my collection and then I see a picture or a deal on it and I reconsider it again.

Not necessarily antinomic . I ordered it too because I?m a Superman and especially Reeve collector/fan, and yeah, this looks like crap. Neca did a much, MUCH better job of it.

I wonder if they're waiting for Mezco's site to sell out. Didn't they wait until Keaton Bats went out of stock then dropped their listing with a marked-up price?

Yeah no reason for them to put it up for PO before Mezco's own site is sold out.

Interesting someone on Twitter mentioned the Reeve Sups might originally might’ve been a SDCC exclusive ( of course SDCC got canceled ) so this might explain how this version came out so quickly out of the blue

That's what I think, same price and probably box size as the Gordon from last year that was an exclusive. Makes sense given the timing. I'm curious if they'll continue in the next couple weeks with other preorders that were set as SDCC exclusives. That's how they've done it in the past, 1 preorder a week for 2-3 weeks before SDCC/NYCC.

Yeah I ordered Strange on a whim when I saw him for a cheap price and I like that figure a lot.

I kinda disagree they haven?t made bad figures, actually, I have some (BW Frankenstein, Spidey, BvS Bats and Supes, Classic Supes and comics Dr Strange), and so far, I think the only effort they made was Frankie and Strange. The bodies kinda suck and have wonky proportions, the paint job is minimal (check other brands and Manniple for comparison). They were the first, the most prolific, but they are the worst imho.

That is so odd because the Mez Comic Strange is one of my favorite Mezco figures. To each their own,

I ordered one, have the Hot Toys exclusive Reeves. If they ps images of s shield on the cape, then they will follow through on that. I think the production piece will look better, mezco has really stepped up their game recently, we'll see...

And yes, that smile sculpt is so embarrassingly bad, maybe they'll be shamed into doing a better one.

That’s what I said! Frankie and Stange are awesome, the rest, not so much. Spidey isn’t bad but articulations suck. The rest is meh at best.

I really like the neutral sculpt in this photo. That looks just like CR. Even the smiley face doesn't look too bad. I think it's the bottom lip or the teeth that makes it look a bit strange.

The suit look too big here, but looking at all their previous figures with tight costumes, the final product will fine. I'm excited. I've got this guy, Popeye/Bluto set, 89 Batman and Conan the Barbarian preordered. Now if we can get a good Beetlejuice, The Tick (cartoon/comic), Miami Vice, and Drive (film) figures, I'd be set for a long time.

Mezco just teased Beetlejuice.

I bet it’ll be another one of their designer figures. Didn’t they show a new stylized figure of him in his wedding attire at some convention a little while ago? I don’t think that’s gone up for preorder yet.

A 1:12 Beetlejuice would be awesome though - especially if they loaded him with accessories. His gravestone, carousel headdress with inflatable arms, maybe a static figure of his worm form, etc.

They just posted a pic of a Beetlejuice Mega Scale figure. Not that long ago they did this same thing by posting a Shining gif of Jack and then revealed later it was a living dead doll. Mezco media team be trolling.
