You know, it was Kotobukiya that started my ten year-ish stint of active collecting back around late 2011. They really do have some good work.

If it is the 89 Bats (sorry haven’t been following your posts) did they say if they got them in stock? And what is the hold up with shipping

I've got the Jim Lee Hush Batman as well, plus some Anime/Manga ones. I have only just started buying some, and have replaced a lot of my 1/12 figures, which as much as I like, don't have the same shelf presence as bigger figures.

Kotobukiya makes some good statues, and at good prices too. I haven't personally bought any, but from photos/reviews they seem good quality. Can't argue with that - some statues do provide much better dynamism and presence compared to some action figures. So you're stepping down on your 1/12 game JMT?? ( )

Yeah, I've sold all of my 1/12 figures and used the dough to buy some Kotobukiya statues, and 1/48 Macross VF-1J figure.
I'm still in the 1/6 game though!

I asked about NRD in the reply. We’ll see what they say. No question about ETA for figure. Not a good look for them.

Again in the last few weeks I’ve been in this thread looking for my 89 Batman but was intercepted with the new Superman pics. And here I am with a fantastic figure as I still wait for 89

Man, that classic Superman though! It just screams comics Superman!!!!

It looks oh so nicee in pics/reviews. I mean, man oh man, this is probably going to be my favorite comic Superman in my collection!! I think it comes all together nicely and undoubtedly captures the more pure comic book look. The body has a good amount of bulk and the suit is nice 'n simplistic. The head(s) are just so good! The sculpts for them, for me, definitely capture what I envision as Superman in the comics. It comes with so many accessories I think they should've included a second body in the pack Dare I say, this Superman is going to become my definitive comics Superman!!!

Some little quibbles it would seem to me is that the "hope" symbol should be a bit bigger, and I think the body should be a larger, since the head to my eye appears a bit too big on it, in addition to Supes looking a little smaller compared to some of the other Mezco DC figures based on some reviews. While I don't mind the proportions, I think it could be improved upon, especially when it was compared to the BMS KC Superman in the last page, the proportions on that figure look sleeker. (Of course with the plethora of 1/12 accessories and bodies available out there, perhaps a body swap could enhance the figure.) Still, I'm overall looking to be very happy with this Supes!!
