Really nice bro! I needed a good laugh! Nice jabba display BTW!

I like the look of the Mezco exclusive. I love the look of this figure but $70 plus shipping for a 6" feels steep. Still deciding on plunging in here

Hey Mezco, you mind doing the rest of the Justice League? I just saw GL, and well...

I understand your hesitation.Trust me. But it's great. It's everything you love about 1/6 ion half the size. I stopped collecting this scale years ago and when I got the message from BBTS that it was in stock and they needed payment I started to regret it. I just went ahead and payed anyway with the plan to sell it off if I hated it. I'm glad I kept my order. He's a 10 imo.

$65 really seems to be a lot of money for a 6" figure. But if you put some things into perspective, that 6" figures like these are now within the $25-30 price range:

Then $65 for this isn't really that hard to swallow, IMO:

Great pics, Fiend.

Yeah, I think this figure is worth it as far as value. Granted it's all subjective I guess but quality, accessories, articulation are all top notch and on par with any 1/6th scale figure. I think this is the best Miller Batman on the market. And I would say if they don't do another run this one is going to be twice the price on the secondary market shortly.

Ordered the Previews Exclusive from Entertainment Earth. It's going to cost $85 out the door because EE is in CA and so am I but it only takes 2 days to get to me. I loved Miller's Batman stories so I'm excited but man it's tough to know it's going to cost that much.

$87 is the lowest price I got here. I wish we'd get an official Mezco distributor so we can get them @ SRP, but I'm still glad I got this on pre-order.

Money?

Money was never an issue to me with these figures. I'd have happily paid TWICE what I paid for this guy.

When I was about 10 years old I read the four issue mini series THE DARK KNIGHT by Frank Miller at my friend's house, cause his older brother had the complete series...Everyone in the house was asleep. It was just me and a single lamp, my friend snoring away.....and Miller's art and words transporting me to another time and place. This was in 1987 or so. My mind..........was...........blown.

I've been waiting since then for the toys I imagined in my mind when I was reading those issues. For a while the DC Direct figures were the best I had....they were OK, but lacking.

THESE figures are more like it. As if someone took my ten year old daydream from 1987 and made it a physical reality.

I'm still days/weeks away from holding it in my hands here in Japan....and it seems like everyone else on the board already has at least one of these bad boys. I envy you.

I'm in the same boat as some of you have posted with collecting 1/12 and 6" figures. I have nearly abandoned collecting 6" for a while now. Just because I feel that the major toy companies have pretty much produced crap in terms of 6" scale figures for sometime now.

Until the recent Batman TAS line and the Neca Keaton figures I pretty much gave up on any DC character action figures in 6" scale as of late. With exception to the current ML line I just don't think the scale is worth collecting in Superhero form let alone DC characters. :lecture

The only thing I collect in 6" scale are non Superheroes from S.H. Figuarts, Figma and Monsterarts, etc.

Until now. I have to agree with Pierre and Mezco there just hasn't been any high end 6" figures that capture quality as well as detail as the 1/6 scale lines in 6" or 1/12 scale.

This by far is the evolution of 1/12 scale superhero collecting for me.

In so many ways this figure is pretty much a HT in 1/12 scale IMO

Just with simple poses :clap

Now I don't have too much in collecting anything from Miller's TDKR, but I don't know if any representation of the character thus far has been captured quite like this figure. I could be wrong, but not even statues of PFs have nailed it like this.
