BERNIE WRIGHTSON IS A GOD OF THE ARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rock:bow

I totally forgot Wrightson illustarted The Cycle of the Werewolf! I'm going to go buy that thing, right now.

Thanks for the pic of the 12 incher too, Monster.

I received my 12" Mezco Wolfman today.

I must say, I am very pleased. The Benicio Wolfman is quite a nice figure, especially for the low end price. He is a little oversized and cartoony, but it's a stylistic choice, this is a Mezco after all. I think it works okay. I was lucky enough to get a bloody, open-mouth version, as I'd hoped, and he looks quite primal and fierce, especially with the hunched over look achieved through two rolling joints in his midsection. The blood application on the clothing could have been a little better, but it'll do, and would be easy to touch up. There is also blood splatter on the chest fur, mouth, and hands, and those areas look just fantastic. There is a bit of trouble finding this guy's center of gravity, what with his strange wolf jointed legs and feet. The legs are also hollow plastic, and contribute in making it difficult to get him standing. I feared this may be an issue like with other 12" Mezco figures, but there is a center of gravity to be found, you just have to search for it. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this guy, and he's Mezco’s best effort at a sixth scale figure to date. I can not wait for the film, which I'm sure will be worth the wait.

I've included some bad photos, including a couple beside the Sideshow Wolfman and Hot Toys Alien for scale. Enjoy.

Bought mine from Cornerstorecomics. BBTS also has them in stock, and there are some deals floating around on ebay for even less than what I paid. Figure looks fantastic in person. The damn flash makes him look very toy-like and cheap. Plus he's very sturdy. I've been having more fun with him than my new HT Alien, which I'm afraid to touch.

Crap that's huge. I was planning on putting the HS,chest, arms and feet on a articulated body-but? now, may still work. But it does look good.

Are all the 12" Wolfmans bloody or is that a variant?

I thought he was supposed to be a variant, but I can't seem to find a non bloody one in this scale. It's possible they only produced this version, now that I think about it, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for the pics, Master Wayne:) Helps out a great deal on deciding whether to hunt this 12" figure down or not;)

I canc. my SS order-found it for 30.00 shipped at Amazon through gohastings.

saw the 12" Wolfman in my lcs and I was Shocked at the size for a 12" figure. I will most definately be picking this figure up.

It's one of the more impressive 12" $39.99 figures I've seen in recent memory.
