And Mikey is my favorite turtle. Didn't like this look at all. :(

I'll reserve further judgement for another trailer. And I'll let it simmer for a bit now.

Sorry to hear but it is just a screen cap.

I haven't seen the trailer yet. Makes me wonder if there are any cool martial arts fight sequences in the trailer. Cause despite everything that may be against this movie; cool ninja fights scenes will win me. Anyone know?

:lol :lol :lol at all the comments!

It's going to be worth one showing.. like GiJoe... at home with a case of beer. Hopefully the next morning I won't remember anything about it, but know I don't have to watch it again! :lol

No. No ninja fights. Take the fight scenes from Transformers and replace the robots with hideous, nostriled…. THINGS.

Oh, yeah. I agree. They just showed a short clip of him. I won't shun it. Will I end up seeing it? Probably. Maybe later, rather than sooner, but Bay will still get my money in the end. :lol

It's difficult growing up with the original live action movie series and now seeing this.

It's amazing how a film shot almost a quarter of a century ago and hampered by the limited technology of the day, still looks exceptionally better than a film releasing this year and clearly using all the technology afforded to cinema. :lol

Yeah, I can't really explain it. Doesn't make any sense to me, but you'd think almost 25 years later that someone would have taken that formula and tried to perfect it. I understand CGI is the way to go now, etc. etc. etc., but I almost feel that given what we saw with the first film, someone would have taken note and said 'This worked then. Let's build upon it.'

Again though, I get someone who says I want something different, new, etc. etc. Well, in that case, here you go. Bay is going to give you that. Just be prepared.

Though not my thing, it is what it is. I think the kids will love it.

My son is super excited for this and I've watched the trailer 5 times with him already. He IS the target market right? They'll get my money either way since I'll be bringin him...plus toys. This movie will do fine financially.

AGAIN, this one isn't for 'us'. We got that one already. It's still there. You can still watch it. Obviously as a reboot things will change, some for the better (FX look great IMO, and I'm warming up to the designs), and some for the worse (still waiting to see how much the origins have changed and how Sachs = Shredder).

I will admit though... It's pretty clear Bay had his hands alllll over this one. I wasn't expecting it to look like Bay himself directed it. (and I like the Bay aestetic for what it's worth)

Other than explosions, sunsets, racism, homophobia, and a porn level fetish of the US military, what is the Bay aesthetic?
