I agree with those, aside from CatDog.

I was always pro Cat, because Dog was stupid moron with no redeeming qualities. Cat just wanted to do his ****. Dog acted like a damn fool.

two shows I could not stand was CatDog and the Angry beavers... really couldn't stand the CatDog show though, I really hated it.
Another show I could never watch was Ed Edd And Eddy. really really hated that one :cuss:cuss

I used to love watching Hey Arnold, it was one of my favorites. I loved about it that it was not stupid like Ed Ed and Eddy or silly like Catdog, Hey Arnold was sometimes really serious, I think if it wasn't a cartoon it could almost pass of as a drama show or something. I liked it.

I Loved Dexter's lab too, I really liked him, Dexter made me laugh.
I also loved Doug and Rocko's Modern Life. I loved Aaahh!!! Real Monsters too. I would always watch monsters even if it was reruns. I loved that show.

and Rugrats of course I watched that all the time as well.

The Wild Thornberrys seemed like a really really nice show but I never watched it. It was just never on, or if it was I would just miss it. I wanted to watch it but it just never happened.

I never got into Jhonny Bravo. Never really liked it.
The Fairly OddParents was nice at first, I liked it, but then I just ended up hating it.

one of my favorite cartoons that I would watch all the time was My Gym Partner is a monkey. I also really loved that one.

I feel the same about The Fairly Odd Parents. Liked it at first, then got tired of it.

Dave the Barbarian was a more recent cartoon that I really enjoyed. I don't think it lasted more than one or two seasons though.

Can't forget Spongebob of course.

Oh man... I Loved Dave the Barbarian, specially that piggy guy LOL,
that is another show I was never able to catch when it was on, I need to catch up on that one as well.

We should forget Spongebob.

Or at least what it is now.

Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Gravity Falls. The trifecta of awesomeness. All the created by people who worked together. So there's a nice string of quality. But they're all vastly different shows.

Doug was my show of choice. Freaking loved that show. Cartoons these days just don't have the same quality as they did back in the 90s. I miss my childhood :monkey2

anybody watched captain planet?

I still have that ****ing ending credits song stuck sin my head, really catchy.
It pops out in my mind from time to time Im not even joking.

Actually, they do. All three of the shows I watch harkin back to that time where toons weren't censored, and got away with a lot of really hard stuff.

Where it wasn't about morals, or **** like that, it was about just being entertained for 20 minutes every week, and maybe giving you some good character moments. If you're lucky.

I get more out of cartoons now, then I get out of Dexter or The Office. Which are now, basically cartoons. :lol

Yes. I hated every second of that show. Any show with a heavy handed message turned me off.

Only reason Doug and Arnold get a pass was because they were highly relatable. Unlike Captain Planet. Who can go **** himself.

Bull****, lil' Celticpredator wanted to be a planeteer. I can tell.

The Ninja Turtles suck. Never understood the appeal. Pretty retarded concept if you ask me.

Stupid 90s kids.

Say's he who I'm guessing was still classed as old in the 90's.

I second that. Ninja Turtles are lame.

...but the 90's were cool

Say's he who wasn't even born in the early 90's.

:lol

The Turtles were a huge part of my childhood well into the 90's.

To answer Celtic , reason why they keep remaking and reviving old toons is Becuase most cartoons are awful today, sure you got adventure time , Ben10 and spongebob but most that come out today are just bad. They are redoing the powerpuff girls, making a live action spongebob movie and also make thousands of new incarnations of scooby doo. Tmnt had a huge impact and is loved by millions of people so of course they are gonna reboot that. Nobody has any originality even back then it was a show that copied off scooby doo or a show that cashed in on tmnt (street sharks). Once in a while u get something like avatar that blows people away Becuase it's so new and exciting.

I'm pretty sure Lars is 17. So he was born around the 90's/

Everyone says this. But the trifecta proves it wrong. With Tron Uprising, we actually got a pretty great little toon renaissance here again.

People are actually trying. Maybe it's all thanks to My Little Pony for bringing in the adults, causing studios to write engaging stories for both children and adults.

How can you disagree when you're not even watching what's on TV? (rhyme!)

What about Ben 10 and Danny Phantom? Dunno if those are still on, but I thought they were very original and fun.

I do agree though. Most kid shows blow today.

Ben 10 was cool, neverbwatched Danny Phantom

My faves were Hey Arnold, Doug, Dexters Lab, X-Men, Spider-Man, Powerfulpuffs girls, Recess, Samurai Jack, Kim Possible.

Live action ones like Sister Sister, Kenan & Kel, Hang Time, california Dreams.

Batman the brave and the bold and the Spectacular Spider-Man were two of the best superhero ones of recent times imo.

And the mew TMNT is good.
