Is there such a thing as sewer cred?

The photos we've seen, are they figures or models used in a studio or something? They look very detailed?

I'd imagine they're maquettes created as models for the CG team, like Hulk was for Avengers.

Turtles look great! Bay's attachment to this is bad news!

I will however reserve my judgment on this until after I have seen it.

Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman have said so far the comics have been really respected.

Yeah I'd imagine he will be in a sequel. Save him for Part 2.

Then they can all be a bunch of meathead junkies, committing crimes and stealing sporting goods to support their habits, with the Foot and Shredder being the good guys who want to clean up the city! Add in a buncha 'splosions and Fox skunking the camera with her junk's skank stank!

Maybe their new lair will be a huge underground meth lab. Splinter as Heisenberg with the turtles dealing 'Turtle Green' on the NY Streets.

Ralph = Pit fighter/MMA
Mikey = Ninja teenager

Over all I like the designs... Shredder is a bit over the top, but not terrible. I'll still buy HT figs of them.

Raph and Donny both. Raph is built like Conan, and Donny could not be stealthy with all the crap. But stealth and Michael Bay don't really go hand in hand together.

Have to say I don't hate the designs of the Turtles. Sure, they look different, some additions might even be unnecessary, but so far I like the look of Leo and Donny. Can't wait to see more and better pictures!

Shredder looks better than I expected as well.

A whole lot of knee jerk over reaction, mostly over Bay's name being attached. Again...you guys know he's not directing right? A lot of the jabs have been that this will have a whole lot of 'Bay-isms' (which to be honest I'm personally fine with). Have any other 'Platinum Dune' flicks had an obscene amount of explosions? Pretty sure the answer is no. Granted his production house doesn't have the greatest track record, but I don't think it's because of Bay himself. I reserve judgement until at very least a trailer is released so we can see a glimpse of what they're going for.
