I'm excited! This is my first midnight show since getting mono two years ago. When that hit there was no way I could stay conscious after that late in the night. Plus, my mother-in-law is coming up tonight so babysitting is taken care of. I have decided to ignore some of the reviews I've seen because the more reviews I saw the more it sounded like each critic was shown a different movie. The reviews are really all over the place. I've seen everything from "greatest comic book movie sequel" to "gigantic, boring, piece of trash." I guess its whatever floats your boat.

I had to laugh when I saw the previous post about hoping the theater keeps the AC pumping. I woke up to snow this morning. In Idaho you get all four seasons on the same day.

I'm in florida and its been pretty hot, even at night. I was surprised today when it rained... and it rained hail.

Just got back as well. I can see why some people may not think this was as good as the first, but I enjoyed it as much if not more. Can't wait for next year, while Green Lantern is hands down my most anticipated.....Caps and Thor will make 2011 as good as 2008 lol, hopefully.

P.S. - Black Widow stole the movie for me, bring on a spin-off and put her in the Avengers movie!

Hope you guys stayed until the end of the credits for the tie in to the next Marvel film

Not bad at all. Very entertaining movie. I'm looking forward to the HT figures and the Thor movie.

I loved the movie. Had a great time. I definitely feel like it matched the first. It told a good story and had some great dialogue. There were a few parts I felt provided plotholes, but they ended up getting explained so it all came together just fine.

The only problem was that I have specifically avoided finding out what the scene at the end of the credits was since it got leaked. Then, during the credits, the dumb _____ next to me turns and says "Just so you know, Thor's hammer is going to be on after the credits."

I told her off and nearly got into a fight with her boyfriend after that. Otherwise, it was a great experience. There were a ton of comic geeks there I ended up meeting and getting the chance to talk to.

yeah i hate it when people say things like that and then post them in a forum for all to read.:monkey3

Saw it last night at midnight. Not a bad movie but very disappointed. Lots of bad choices by Favreau to please the "fans", hence the result. Too many superhero clichés in there. Downey and Rourke great as always, but the story is weak.

Hopefully Favreau can get it back on track with IM3. Many things to learn from Nolan.

have to say i liked this one as much if not more then the first was a really great movie. HOT TOYS NEEDS TO MAKE THE DRONES NOW ><
