Retail on the full set was $820.00. Dx was $1,000. I loved the film and the character! Can someone explain to me why this figure is at the asking price of $3,500-$4,000+?:horror

Because it's never going to be made again and extremely limited. There isn't really a benchmark or market price to go by since they don't go on sale that often so ya...people put it at whatever price they want and if someone buys it, then the next one on sale will be around the same or higher than the price that it previously sold for. IMO, the price inflation is nuts but if you got the cash, then more power to you. LOL

Dont know if I ever posted these in here but this a regular hatted Plainview with the hat removed and hair resulted by Rahmier84 painted by Kuato

They did a splendid job !

It's a thing of beauty rob ... All I need now is the charcoal suit and boots ... Hmmm

Anybody still interested in getting the suit and boots made ?

I'm thinking/hoping that will still be getting done after Yunsil catches up on all the back orders

Is Aaron still quarterbacking this thing tho not heard anything or was pm replied ?

Hope so as he seems to do a good job running it all .

If not could do with yunsil's info and get this done myself for me you and whomever .

I think that was the initial plan but not now sadly. He's received nothing but problems with a few customers on his Heisenberg clothing run and it's turned him off to piloting future projects. I can't/don't want to put words in his mouth or speak for him but this is what he told me. Hopefully the situation will change as this set would be very popular no doubt.

Gareth, if Aaron doesn't want to organize the Plainview would you be willing to step in? I know you're dealing with her on another project first already.

Thanks for the close-sure on this Gareth .... But rob is right if Aaron ain't taken it on for understanding reasons would you take this on if there was enough interest .?

I'll speak to Aaron about it if he if definitely sure he doesn't want to handle it then sure I'd be happy to do it, after my George Jung project of course :)

Go for it Gareth :duff

Will be interested in this myself :)

You going to ask RM if the guy that made the original boots for Plainview will do another run to accompany the suits?

Can do don't ask don't get right :). I dunno how likely it'll be but can try. Did he wear the same footwear with the charcoal suit?

Very good point Aaron ! The boots have to be part of the deal !

Just caught up on your Heisenberg thread ..wow sorry to read all the bull****e you've just had to deal .
Don't let it put you off for future projects tho mate .

I'm sure you already know I'm in on this!! BTW it's a different pair of shoes than the ones he wore with the quail hunting look. They are much shorter (between the ankle & mid-calf) and the pants go over them. I may not have time to do it till after the weekend but I can pull up some reference shots

I don't think he did , but I would like the boots regardless with the outfit as they scream plainveiw and look fantastic on display .

Gareth plz get us those boots my friend :)
