Yeah, or without the hat. He isn't nearly as iconic a "man in suit" as, say, Vito Corleone.

Personally I'd like to see him as is, without the hat.
I do, as well (I think the hat looks kind of silly), but it would help to make him more quickly recognizable as Plainview.

He did that sculpt for fun he was telling me. I said he should consider a full release as alot of people over the years have expressed interest in Plainview and I think he is a stunning character for Rainman to tackle. He seemed interested so we decided to start this thread and get a little more feedback. I think so far its very positive and hopefully it will be a goer after Pee Wee

Plainview is definitely in my top 5 of most wanted 1:6 figures. Oh Rainman...please make this happen

So, was Ringo just a rumour or was Rainman actually interested in that project. Given this is kind of an interest gauge for Dan Plainview, will there be a poll sort of a thing after Pee Wee, between Ringo and Daniel (and probably Wyatt)? Got into Rainman with Doc and don't really know how things work. What I have heard is that Rainman makes what he likes to. But fans' demands/persuasion is also considered, like Pee Wee. Just curious.

I love my Doc figure, but I have zero interest in Ringo.
Im having a hard time thinking Ringo has enough going for him to warrant fullsets, clothing sets, unpainted heads and a DX.
RM usually does headline type characters, so I was surprised he was even in the running.
Was this a rumor or a done deal?
IMO Doc was the only character in Tombstone I cared anything about.
I'd be happy for PeeWee then Daniel, but obviously it's RM's ballgame.
