thanks transhi; yeah it was a really awesome experience.

IF ANYONE WHO IS BIDDING ON THE MILKSHAKE MAN OILY SET WANTS TO TEAM UP, PLEASE PM ME. I AM ONLY LOOKING FOR A PAINTED HATLESS SCULPT AND AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO CONCEDE THE REST OF THE SET.

What's it going for on eBay?

o and i threw long foot pegs on my milkshake man and like the way it looks. he's a long, lanky guy so it works for me. i use them on DDay Lewis and Ledger/jokers.

Whats going on in those boots? Is it a pain in the b_lls? I've been pushing it off because I thought it might be time consuming. I haven't even compaded him to other figs yet so I don't know if the knockoff is already taller than the average TT. If it's the same height I'm doing the extenders but either way I want to pack out the ankle to fill out the boot.

hey pop, you are in for a ton of fun...the boots just suck!! cant get them right, and pegs do not fit, the seem to made for a pegless leg?? mine has become a problem..and i used a tt-18 body...thes noce hot toys one..

i actually have a different pair of boots on him at the moment--the ones i will be using for an oily version. can throw up pics if you want. they are very similar to the set version and have the same lacing. they were actually easier to put on than i expected. took me about ten-fifteen minutes in all i guess. havent re-tightened the laces yet, so i cant speak to that end of things.
as for the TT vs knockoff: i dont have any knockoff bodies yet but have heard that they were slightly taller than the TTs which was why they were perfect for Ras. have my Plainview on a TT narrow. and with the long pegs i think he looks great.

alright. here a shot of daniel plainview with long foot pegs and in boots. the joker in the shot is also on long pegs, so that is the reason they are about the same height. the boots are not the rainman quail hunting but are the ones i plan to use for an oily version.

Looks like a pain in the ass. Good thing I don't need the boots from my H/C set. Good luck Marty.

i'm not real clear on what it is i have to do for the mod. has anyone done it and can explain?

You dont need the full foot to fit in the boot. just take the small piece outta the opening (the piece the peg fits in) and shove it in to the bottom of the boot. Depending on the body you are using, taking that little piece outta the foot can be a bit of a pain.
