Personally I've never heard of Reggie Monroe nor have I come across his name mentioned as a sculptor on this board before. I haven't heard of Ike-Con either and I bet there's alot of people in the same boat as me. Actually it's obvious based on the list of people you have that are on board with this figure.

I can't imagine many people jumping on board for a $200+ figure based on a proto of the clothing so yeah, it was probably a mistake to try and get orders without a head sculpt or even reference shots of your other work(which I'd love to see by the way so get to posting those pics).

Trust me Coco, he's an awesome sculptor, he's done some work for me in the past and currently. You can check out some of his work on OSW under his sn name Reggie. I've had 3 sculpts done from him and i've been pleased with them all :)

Head sculpts ultimately lead the way for someone purchasing a custom. They will get more deposits than proto clothing. But it does look nice so far.

Can you tell us about the base body used, IKE-CON?

Reggie usually posts over at OSW. I've got one of his Keanu Reeves as Neo sculpts and it's most excellent, just haven't had the chance to get anyone to paint it up. I'll see if I can dig up some links to more of his work.

Thanks. The normal process is to finish the sculpt first, like I said, we put the Milla sculpt aside to make our Heath Ledger Joker(see picture). So the timing got all messed up. We have no plans to make that mistake again.

We love the outfit to. With the wire inset, adjustable straps and pleated spots perfectly placed, it fits skin tight to the body we use.

After a lot of trial and error we found that the Jakks signature female body is the closest to Milla's actual body. We heavily modify it, by drilling out the arms and legs and put in fully functional hands and feet, which is no easy task =].

The Jakks body reminds me of the Hot Toys muscle body, covered with a rubber like skin and is very lifelike. Though it doesn't have as much articulation as the newer bodies, we find it has enough to bring Alice to life and looks incredible in the process. We are willing to give up some articulation to have a true, lifelike body that really looks like Milla. Let's face it, most other female action figure bodies have D or C cup's. Milla is really an A to small B cup and that's what we get with this body.

I understand that lots of people on this forum have not heard of us. I actually posted on here, because I was asked to by several other people that are regulars on here. Even though we're not getting a great response now, I'm still glad I did post. As with this forum, there are lots of other forums that people stick to and don't stray from. So posting here will only give people more access to my world and IKE-CON figures. Once that happens and word of mouth or word to forum takes over, the figures become even more in demand.

So here's a few pictures of the last 3 Reggie Monroe heads on IKE-CON figures. We have a Christain Bale Cleric, Kate Beckinsale Selene (Resin & Mo-hair) and Heath Ledger Joker. I'll have to look through all my pictures to see if I can find some more. I did have a Neo as well, but that was a long time ago. But I'll search through and see what I can come up with for you. I also did a Sin City Deadly Little Miho, A Milla Tribute figure (Dark Templar) & some Milla Ultraviolets(4 different versions). If you google us you might find a few links to older figures as well....:google

I will also try a find some other pictures of Reggie's work and post it in this thread or make a new one to show him off..lol

** I just got some more pics of Reggie's work, I will start a seperate post for people to see them

Metaphorge, I looked him up over at OSW by the way. He's got some good stuff. His Neo sculpt is nice. Based on his body of work I wouldn't buy into anything of his sight unseen though.

Face and hare need more work. Likeness is 80%, close but not close enough to warrent even 50% of the price. Weapons are great. The magnet idea in the boot is a good idea if it is truly strong, can it hold on if the figure is upside down. That's my definition of strong.

I've several of Reggie's works, and he does and outstanding job, including a "mini-me"!
