OK...That came out completely wrong. Sort of. I'm a Red Sox fan, you'll have to forgive me.
What I meant to say is that the Yankees are going to win and take the World Series title for the 27th time this year. I said it in the beginning of the year after they picked up Sabathia, Burnett, and Tex...and I'm saying it again. I love the Red Sox, but the writing was on the wall with those acquisitions.
Dodgers
Dude you guys never even had a chance. LOLZ!
We will see. You should be cheering for the Phils brother man. That's like cheering for the Cowboys when you are another NFC east team fan. Cheer for the PHils and let the champs take care of the rest.
rox (despite having fewer right handed bats) gave a better competition than the dodgers
Your just mad cause we owned the ^^^^ty rockies. And if you would have made it you would be sitting at home already.
I would...but the Yankees are downright scary this year. Their lineup is downright powerful from top to bottom and their pitching staff has been doing great. Cashman made the right move by putting Joba back in the pen. I just don't see anybody ousting them and stopping them from winning that World Series title.
I'm not familiar with too many of the National League Teams. I am familiar with guys on your team like Utley, Hamels, Howard, Rollins, & Victorino (& of course Pedro). It's hard getting behind a team that I'm unfamiliar with. At least with the Yankees, they play the Sox just about 17 times a year and the stadium is about 3 hours out from where I live. I'm familiar with the team and the organization because of it. While I might not like A-Rod, I have alot of respect for guys like Jeter, Posada, and Rivera.
i'm not mad...i'm glad. glad to see the dodgers get treated like a bunch of ^^^^^^es despite spending about 25% more than the rockies. give us 25 million more to spend and we would have taken out both the dodgers and the phillies.
ehhh. i'm pretty sure Howard, Rollins and Utley are as big stars as just about anyone.
and next year its the Rox at the top of the West...fear the purple.
See here is my point. The Phils play as a team. All of their players contribute. When you least expect it, BAM! Home run from Ruiz. The Yanks have always relied on STARS. Stars can be shut down. Just look at Manny in this series. Plus the Phils are the Champs unless someone beats them. So you have to respect that.
