i dont want to engage in trying to get my money back after i had the figure for so long... Id rather just sell it and take a bit of a loss moneywise.

I just want to say - if someone cheated you, I think you should try and make it right. If not for yourself, then for the rest of us - so that we don't get cheated by doing business with him/her in the future.

The community needs to police itself - that means taking the responsibility of correcting somebody when they scam you (or anyone else in the community). If we don't do that, then scammers get away with cheating more members.

He already named the seller on the forum, (not the exact name but a major part of it) like I said, better not trust Frodo's 'nurse' , even I didnt name the guy when the same situation happened (though most of you policed/pieced it out yourselves on who it was ) because I wanted to give the guy a chance to fix it up. However the good thing was that in the end I got my replacement

i dont want to get my money back because after a few weeks when i noticed the oil i didnt return the figure because i didnt want to part with it... Even with the shiny abs and all... And i posted here because i wanted to double check which abs i had on my figure so that i could list it properly in my for sale thread... I am not worked up over this matter so guys again please... Let it go.

and one last thing... I think my seller was also misinformed or it could be that this figure from the dcd batch didnt get the hard plastic abs make over yet or maybe the abs started shining after the figure got to me... Coz when i opened it i checked the abs and they were dry... Only about 2 or 3 weeks later i noticed they were shining a bit... Anyways the member that sold him 2 me is not a crook so stop with the propeganda... Its not cool!

magazine my dx02 shiny abs and all is one of the best figures i own so thats why i couldnt ship him of again at that point... And my figures abs dont run... They just shine... And its my money brother... If i spent it on a leaky dx batman you dont have to hang yourself up over it... Im certainly not.

Ok, with a new Joker coming even without showing on the next movie, a new Batman 2.0 is inevitable. What do you think the dx02 needs to improve aesthetically. I find it almost perfect. For me the neck is too thin, even the head is a bit small. The shoulder pads are a bit bigger. The rest is beautiful.

Go through about the first 200 pages of this thread, the flaws were well dissected within those. The final product varied a little from the proto, but most of the flaws that came up still show in the production figure, except the neck, that didn't seem so much an issue on the proto.

1. Neck too thin
2. Head too thin
3. Ears too long
4. Arms too bulky, especially forearms (medi arms are perfect in comparison)
5. Fix leaks
6. Fix cape material and cut
7. Add missing line in top armour piece of the pants
8. Improve articulation, preferably by making the build into an accurate mesh undersuit with armour on top
9. Provide cheezburger.

Considering the multiples flaws and with the upcoming final movie, it is pretty much guaranteed a Batman TDKR will be released. Hot Toys and us want the ultimate Batman DX.

I have no doubts HT will release this figure again with some sort of twist to make it different enough in people's eyes like the TDK Begins and the newest one. However, I do question if they'll change anything, it'd be easy variant money to just rebox this one as is, like Iron Man repaints. The only reason I could see them doing futher enhancements to this for is to distinguish a future figure from DX02 enough to put worries about leaking again at ease. Sure there's been other Batmans since without issue so far, but people also know the DX02 wasn't built the same as the Batmans that have been fine and will worry how another TDK suit figure will be built, and rightly so.
