Stallone told HT to make him look younger.
Probably.
Do you really think he gives a damn what some (what he would think) toy looks like?

Ya can't really rule out the possibility. A lot of actors are prima donnas when it comes to their toy likenesses. Either it's the actors themselves or their handlers.

I'm sure he does. If you read his interview in the last issue of GQ, the author mentions Stallone's office has a large shelf filled with action figures of... himself!
Which means, I'm sure he has a Hot Toys or two.
So why wouldn't he want them to make a Rambo IV?

Well, word had it that Bale had to approve of the John Connor sculpt, so some of these guys do care it would seem. I still wonder if Bale had them idealize his nose or if Kojun just didn't get it right.
As far as this sculpt looking young, maybe a tad, but it still looks more like old Sly than young.
We'll go back to 90's era, a bit older, but still a pretty toned face, the figure looks plenty saggy and misshapen for old age to me, even has the wider nostrils.
Exactly, surely he would want something more than this on his shelf to represent that movie.
It's pretty good, but HT, especially after seeing Barney, would blow it out of the water.
Looks like Sly really did have a facelift. You can tell by the arch in his eyebrows.
Dear Hot Toys, Please redefine the Barney Ross's (Stallone) upper body (torso). The protoype's torso looks too fat. The torso should be leaner and more muscular. Just review the movie and stills again.
