Had this figure on preorder from day one. Spoke to my supplier and he said not to expect it until at least July. As long as I get it I can wait.

Does anybody know whether her mask can be removed to reveal her face? I read it HT did not include those pix in the product promos to "give fans a surprise"? Anybody else heard or knew about that? Still on the fence for this one.

At this point - the mask is not removable. Typically if it was removable, we would have seen a picture already on the prototype. However, with the recent postings of the fans requesting that it should be removed - I wouldn't be surprised if changes are being made right now which has led to a delay in her release. I'm just speculating and wishful thinking. I have no source to back it up so we are all in the dark on this one.

By the way, where did you read up on this "surprise"?
You sure it isn't the Batman cowl exclusive?

They could use magnet on the face and the mask, ala Iron man mask, that way we can attach and detach easily. But this is HT we are talking bout here.... wouldnt surprise me if they did this purposely, so that they could double dip and sell us a maskless Selina Kyle figure with dress or prison outfit as an exclusive or something.

I was just thinking the same thing. How hard can it be? Remember - Hot Toys is promoting this figure as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. Without a removable mask, Hot Toys should just simply call it Catwoman. What's the point of mentioning Anne Hathaway's likeness if we have to squint and look through the mask and say, yeah from some angles thats her. For $200 - With little or no accessories, I say removable mask.
Bane is understandable not so with SELINA KYLE/Catwoman.

she's never called catwoman in the movie. the closest they ever come is "the cat".

so i wouldn't put too much into the name on the box.

that said ~ if that mask isn't removable, it's going to be a mad scrabble for extra heads to strip and fix. brace yourselves.

Regarding the mask, I asked Sideshow's customer service to ask Hot Toys if it was removable. Sideshow just responded to me saying that Hot Toys confirmed that, yes, her mask is removable.

I found my answer! Thank you! I first heard about the removable mask from a Milk magazine article. I guess the delay is due to fixing the neck and headsculpt? As for the lack of accessories, I have concluded that her one and only needed accessory is the expensive Batpod. I bet I can get her to arch real nicely on there from pix they had before!

Bane's looking lonely on his shelf now Bats has decided to go hang out with DX11 Joker, wonder what the chances are of Hot Toys 'doing a Bane' and releasing her before anything else that is currently scheduled?......

I think it has something to do with realism in nolanverse. Bruce did mention she's a 'cat'burglar though.

The subtlety of how those sorts of things were handled is one of the things that I personally love about the Nolan Bat movies. She was a fantastic Catwoman without ever being "Catwoman".
