Now, why would they suddenly use this POS when the figure is nearing release. They had the above "early" proto available to use here. WTF is going on.




Oh yah, MJ Thriller was another figure that turned out worse than the proto

After seeing that pic I was ready to cancel but I forgot I put a deposit down for it

Now I'm stuck with this turd if in fact this is a pic of a production figure.

After seeing this, with the eyes rolled up, i'm leaning toward what others have speculated..this HS has been re-done and these new pictures are bad pictures of the final product. It appears they messed this one up whilst improving Bane.

I hope to eat crow soon.

Is this photo the recent or proto type version because that looks like Hathaway in a mask in 1/6 scale to me.

See the trend??? Hot Toys knows they cannot replicate the same likeness and quality as the prototype through a mass production run. So in efforts to calm the fires of comparison they scare us off with a OMG we could of gotten that instead mentality. Better this than that is what it is all about. So I'm sure things will get better but not expecting anything close to the prototype.

There are plenty of examples of the final sculpt being a substantial improvement over the proto. The final sculpt being worse than the proto isn't the norm. This is in the league of DX05 by the looks of it, I don't think it represents a trend.

In effort to make some lemonade out of this, I think the first pic in this series is where she really looks the worst.

By the final bottom pic, she looks pretty good despite the pics not being up to snuff quality wise. I'm not too terribly worried.
