I'm with you there. These proto pics are absolutely stunning. I fear the worst though, but then again I always do. Pessimism is a higher form of optimism, expect absolutely nothing from anyone and sometimes you can be pleasantly surprised...

I just can't see HT taking two steps back from how their figures have been coming out lately.
They've been getting an awful lot right of late in the head sculpt department. But yeah, the last crap pic didn't exactly instill confidence did it?

My worst fear is that Selina ends up like the first Black Widow figure, where the likeness isn't awful but it isn't good either.

Of course, if we could just get some more new pics of the dam thing we stop the wheels turning for a bit.

I like that Rory. Think like the law of averages.

The law of averages is a lay term used to express a belief that outcomes of a random event will "even out" within a small sample.

So always expect the worst and be negative and eventually something good will happen. But the only problem with that is you'll always see negatives in the positive. So nothing come out right in your own eyes. I used to think that way too.

Now I'm of the belief that what you put out into the world comes back to you. Send out positive energy and you'll get it back. Plus the fact that no one likes to be around negative people. But that's just my theory. Sorry to go all Freud on you all.

My worst fear is that Selina ends up like both Black Widow figures, where the likeness isn't awful but it isn't good either.

IMO, this is no more a doll than any male character. Sculpted hair would likely have looked poor on this kind of figure. Feel free to suggest any example of long sculpted hair on a figure with this much articulation.

And her hair is crap looking. Rooted would've looked better, there is a custom someone did with rooted... so beautiful. I have her on my bottom shelf... if only that hair was better she'd be top. Her dress is awesome.
