This isn't a SS-specific issue of course, since it's not available anywhere else in the world either. Sideshow will distribute/sell more units than anyone else, so they should be among the first places outside of Hong Kong to get their hands on product.

That said it's probably going to be July at the earliest for those of us requiring Sideshow-distributed stock because Hot Toys own "June" date could very well be toward the end of the month.

My supplier in UK has been told end of July.

But was also told Feb 13, then April 13, then May 13!!

So not holding my breath for end of July. It is VERY annoying, but I'd rather it take longer and be awesome than rushed and suck!

I can't see that. Hoping it doesn't suck, but I can't see it.

If one thing my other figures has taught me, it has to be don't listen to others or judge until its in hand. A lot whined about the HS on the DX10 being off or young. I think it looks awesome!!

...it's probably going to be July at the earliest for those of us requiring Sideshow-distributed stock because Hot Toys own "June" date could very well be toward the end of the month.

At this point, I would gladly take this scenario.
If we get an OMG photo review by the end of next month, that would be awesome.

It's only a matter of days, I think, before my final Flex payment gets pushed back again from June to July.

It didn't go up for PO til early September though. So we should still have it in less than a year. Still not great but it seems like a 10 month wait or so is the timetable these days from PO to release from HT.

I might pick up spiderman with the new suit in a couple years, not a fan of the current one.

I don't think the current look is terrible. It's different. The new suit is nice and because of Garfield's slender build, he definitely looks like he lept out from the comics.


That being said, I am slightly disappointed that it looks exactly like raimis spidey suit, save for larger eyes. On one hand, it's nice that its faithful to the comics. On the other, I wish they took some risks in redesigning it. Like a blend between the current suit and classic. ASM is a reboot after all. Having it look SO similar to the previous trilogy can cause some confusion with the casual crowd. I mean, it's like having MoS's suit looking like the donner films, or TDK trilogy suit looking like the burton films (please keep opinions about which look is superior to yourselves people, this post is derailing as it is lol)

So personally ill be getting the ASM suit, as well as ASM2's.

Anyway, we should get back on topic
