I suppose English isn't everyone's first language here in the forum, so I should probably be more careful with compound sentences.
I wasn't accusing anyone of speculating they have. I was curious for my own knowledge. And again, curious for my own knowledge, not being accusatory, are you saying you know for a fact that the head play sculpt is cast from HT's sculpt, or is it you opinion?
I'm not sure any of what I wrote constitutes any type of accusation, it's simply explaining what's being discussed recently here. Also, nothing was being presented as fact except for the recap of what's been going on here in this thread.

Broken down, that sentence expresses two statements:
1. No one was speculating that HT have done a female head sculpt, specifically Selina, that comes apart like this. In answer to your question "Has HT even done a female HS that comes apart like this?"
2. There is speculation that this sculpt has been recast from the Hot Toys sculpt that everyone has been looking at for the past year. The compound nature of the sentence eliminated redundantly writing "but we've been speculating that..." after the comma. The "speculating" is in reference to opinions previously expressed by a number of people, including myself - and it's "speculation" precisely because we don't know with certainty, but can only go by careful observation.
While it is my carefully considered opinion that this sculpt is originally from Hot Toys (stolen, leaked, re-cast, whatever), that's not what I was expressing in #2 above. Again, just trying to add to the first part of the sentence that this is the topic that's being recently brought up.
