The hilarity of this to me, is that these are the only figures that I actually pre-ordered this year.

lol she's takin her sweet *** time. Spidey i've no real rush for i'll get him when he releases.

And do not forget 89' Batmobile

as far as the batmobile is concerned, its looking like even that will be out before selina, what with the recent pictures from HT and the setting up of a window display. which is why im hoping selina's delay isn't down to the fact they want to push that hunk of plastic out the door.

It's actually quite easy:

Whenever Hot Toys makes an announcement of a future release, just add an extra 6-9 months to whatever they say their anticipated release date will be.

That way you can be pleasantly surprised whenever a figure actually gets released within a month or two of when they initially projected it.

This method sadly works for close to 75% of all of HT's releases.

QS Bats has been worse. He's going to be at least at one year when he releases.

Well at least he has a ton of accessories with him compared to this chick who has a gun, a cowl, and some hands. And the cowl isn't even included in the majority of them. Hell TDKR was filmed in less time than this figure has been in production.

I wonder if the Hot Toys employees have production babies during the course of developing a figure for release? Kinda like the video game industry or film production.

? Hot Toys have no money up front. Even if you bought using Flex or some other form of pre-payment from Sideshow or some other retailer, that money doesn't go to Hot Toys. I ordered Selina back at the end of January and haven't paid a cent yet.

Mine is payed in full, is the first time I pre-order any figure, when I saw that it was sold out at many retailers I got my arsse moving because when it comes out is going to cost a pretty penny if you haven't pre-order it. you haven't payed a cent on it? well good luck I hope they don't let you hanging by the paintbrush.

Sideshow, who is responsible for selling most of these things as Hot Toy's largest distributor, doesn't charge anything for pre-orders unless they're over a certain amount, excluding the use of Flex Pay (payment plan). There's no expectation on my part that they will not be able to deliver. If Hot Toys is in production now with the figure I'm sure they'll produce enough to more than cover pre-orders. In fact I'd expect them to over produce to allow additional sales.

Lol yeah i really have no liking to it, nor the tumbler . Now im not saying they are crap but the 89 batmobile is very bland to me besides im not a big 89 fan hence why i sold my joker on. Selina is such a simple figure with really no reason to be delayed this long other than HT having eyes bigger than their bellys.

Yeah I don't really get the hold up with Selina either. Her costume doesn't look like it's that complicated and doesn't have a ton of accessories or anything. Unless maybe they had an issue with doing the rooted hair or something on the head sculpt. If anything I expected Bane to be the one that was delayed and she would have been out a long time ago as Bane seemed to be a bit more complex. It almost has to be that they have so much stuff in the manufacturing process and she just got pushed back.

I may be wrong but I think the Hulk's movable eyes and fingers were a surprise? So I think that we may be getting a removable mask.

Hulks eyes were not a surprise, they were listed in the specs from day one. The moveable fingers where the only new addition. The mask i believe was always going to be removable on selina. I think HT just had to work it out and didn't want to list it in the specs in case they couldn't achieve it. In my opinion anyway

Still looking forward to finally see this released, think it's worse but worth waiting.

Hope that the Blake "announcement" turns into reality anytime soon as well, a modern Batman, "Catwoman" & "Robin " setup would be great!
