may i ask why are you removing the suit?
.
I plan to put it on a Kaustic Plastik Athletik body. the body is slightly smaller and shorter and thus fits in better with my other figures. The stock MOS body is great if I was just going to pose it but I have a photostory in mind that involves other versions of Superman. While the various versions all differ, the MOS version just seems too big for me at least in terms of this project. I know BAR has received a MOS suit but I haven't seen a detailed description of how the costume was removed.

Why not get the jor el boots and shorter pegs

I thought about that but the shorter pegs make the portions seem a bit off, not by much though. Also, I wanted a smaller body. I will post pics tomorrow of the two bodies so you will see what I mean.

Kk. The only person ive seen do it is bar. But I think he bought the suit seperate.

Yeah. I got the suit already removed. It looks like the tightness of the suit and the pegholes on the chest keep the shield in place.
If you were removing the suit, i'd guess you'd pell it forward off the shoulders, and once you got the suit off the clavicle area, you'd stick a flat headed screwdriver gently into the area between chest and shield(On the inside), and prize it of like that. Of course it may just pop out.
I have seen loads of ebay sellers selling the suit separated, so it cannot be hard.

Here are a few pics of the MOS head on a KP body which I plan to put into the MOS suit. Ultimately, I don't know if this will work but I feel like trying.

Finally got a chance to take some pics of my modded MoS figure! I was not a huge fan of the film, but not for a lack of Superman looking totally badass, so I had to have this figure.

Some DC group shots...

Sharp dane, very sharp,,, love the group shot.

That last photo is rather disturbing slobodanee :rotfl. Can't wait to see how it turns out, good luck!

LOL! Looking back at it, I guess it may look disturbing to some. I wanted to show the KP's articulation. We'll see how (and if) it works out.

Just finished this one.
Very easy to maintain and to change out the battery, plus an easy to access switch on the battery box.
A 3v 2032 cell powering two superbright red LEDs.
The battery compartment can be hidden below the cape, but i left it above for the sake of the vid.
Just ignore the music. I picked a random soundtrack, and will be turning the audio off as soon as i get a chance.

That's sick. I have a feeling they'll implement that for the Batman vs Superman DX that IS DEFINITELY COMING OUT PLEASE HOT TOYS.

Here are my WIP pictures. The MOS test fit the KP body. I didn't really grasp the scope of how big the MOS body is until I compared it to the KP, which isn't a small body either. I am contemplating using velcro so that I can switch out the body later. I like the KP except for the fact that it doesn't have double jointed arms. I've taken the dremel to it to add a bit more articulation. Fabio of KP wrote that they may come out with a more articulated muscle body in 2015 so I want to keep my options open. Lastly, I didn't have to remove the glyph inserts but I must either do so where the abdomen is or drill a hole and insert it into the KP body.

That body is anything but skinny, but it does seem small compared to the MOS body.
Perhaps pics taken without that MOS body next to it, will make it seem larger.

I tried my hand ad darkening a Cavill bootleg head to simulate a beard.
I am very happy with the result.
It was a simple process and took less than five minutes.

Bar, the MOS is huge. The MOS suit fits the KP reasonably well though. I will try to post a few pics of the figure in the suit later. Good job on the beard.

Awesome job on the eye mod, Bar, and that Clark Kent is the best I've seen! :clap
