Can anyone point me in the direction of anyone making face plates for the DX12? I've heard a few names thrown around but I've never really been in the business for one until now.

Looking for a batman suit neck, if you got one please PM me :)

Ok guys, I finally did the last 2 mods I will do on this figure. I expanded the cowl and did the squint sculpting around the eyes. Since I last posted pics, I switched out the face plate with Robbie's as well.

I never felt the squint mod was necessary when i got this guy. Always said i was going to, but unless you photograph you figures a lot its really not noticeable in hand . To me anyway, all i did when i got mine in feb was gauntlets gloves and shoulder pads.

That turned out really well,Ron. There's been a few different methods with doing the squint. What did you do?

Thanks Fiend. I just put on my magnifying glass hat and very carefully sculpted in the added eye lids using epoxy. Then when dry, I painted over the epoxy with black paint. It didn't come out 100% perfect but neatly enough that I am happy with it. To the normal eye in person without any magnification, it does look great.

Did you use Ecko's widening mod. I never felt the need to widen mine but yours is looking pretty good. Hmmm....

I don't remember which one said it, but if it was the mod where you stick 2 pieces of foam/plastic on each side of the head, then yeah that was the one. However I used a toothpick. I broke it in 2 and put each piece in both sides of the head. I heated up the head first obviously.

Yeah, that's Ecko's. You used both ends whole? I thought people were just using very small pieces.

Maybe that's why I like yours. :lol

Looks great joebizz. :duff

Thank you :)

:lol Maybe.... Yeah I took 1 toothpick and broke it in half. Then I took each half and shoved it up there on both sides. I know...that sounds dirty. :lol However I feel that the effect works because it widens the cowl from the chin all the way up rather then just on the bottom.

:lol

Yeah, I think you're right. That was my issue with some of the widening mods I've seen. Wide at the jaw but thins out at the top. Im going with the joebizz mod! :lol

I like the sound of that. It has a nice ring to it. :lol

So....just got my DX12. Looks amazing, there are two things that are bothering me though, the face plates and the cape. Now I've already got an old iforigno(?) cape that looks quite good with the figure but I might want a new one. Now the face plates, I do like the angry pissed off one, I think that's the one most people use. But that leaves me with just one face plate and I'd like some more variation so I'm willing to buy one of those custom face plates and maybe a new cape. Can anyone point me in the right direction to acquiring some of these specialty goods?
