Yeah, this was my position when I first heard what they had in mind for this figure. Sure, it's innovative, and I'm curious about this skeletal body underneath, but ain't this....overdoing it? I will be picking up a second jointed KO body on ebay for the extra sculpt and outfit. Besides, I'm just not crazy about rubber bodies. That's all well and good... but again, why have a seamless body when everything but the wrists (which still have a joint) and neckline will be covered. The loss of articulation seems like a poor trade off and you could certainly keep costs down with a different body.
Isn't it going to be a pain in the ass to change clothes on a seamless figure like this? Can you bend back the arms enough on a phicen body to slip a jacket on like you could w/ any other normal body?
It's not anything that Phicen hasn't already done.
Their Arnold body is pretty damn awesome.
I remember the owner on the podcast say the skin would be thin enough so as not to hamper articulation, I think he said that was one of the things he disliked on other seamless bodies, the fact articulation was compromised.
Looking at its skeleton also, that looks like it would be quite articulated to me so that and the skin being thin I dont think it would be a problem.
I guess we will see.
