So here's a bit of advice if you want Wonka Lee Ward who works for Molecule8 and is a very well known retail owner. He'll be sticking these with a small deposit in the uk.

I'm gonna order wonka from him as the deposit is better anyway. I also have Lennon on order!

They wrote on Facebook that they weren't worried about the fallout from the show.

This is a firm indication that they are.

I don't recall seeing them say that.

Probably going to have to...they just had the operating cash flow pulled out from under them...

That would not qualify them as bankrupt.

If this is true, then that was their problem from the get go. It takes very little cash to put up a fancy web site. It takes zero cash to make outrageous marketing claims.

If that was the plan all along (use Paypal as Kickstarter cash ) it was a piss poor idea , horribly executed and incompetent on a grand scale.

Lets hope they really have finical backing besides the cash from pre orders....

If they did go bust I suppose the silver lining is that a more established company might pick up the license and make the figure using the original sculpt. And they have at least shown there's a demand for a Lennon figure even if they couldn't get theirs off the ground.

So do any of you think they will float the money they are getting for Wonka preorders to finish producing Lennon? That is a slippery slope.

Most probably they're investing it in an 8-1 shot in the 3.15 at Kempton.

Finally my order for Lennon has been officially cancelled as of today! It's unbelievable that it took them over a week to cancel my order, and for PayPal to send them an email and urge them to cancel my order. But what bugs me at this moment which is another matter- issuing the refund to me. They told me it's in "paypal's hands" to take the money out of their account and issue me a refund. I don't know about that! I emailed them and I told them they CAN issue a refund to me themselves by going into their PayPal account to do it. They replied that they would call PayPal. I can't take their word for anything anymore. It's been nothing but a runaround for a week now. I think I'll call PayPal and find out who is actually responsible to issue a refund to me.

You expect this kind of behaviour from scumbag eBay con artists not a company that has secured a licence like Lennon. Seriously, just give them 24 hours before you email their local police station. The UK has excellent distance selling laws.

You'd hope the old Bill wouldn't 'raid' anyone over something like this but the company's address is a property. I'm sure a neighbourhood officer could pop over and see them if they continue to mess Amstel around.

Man, they're good. I'd have to wait a month for someone to "pop" over. I was in an accident, albeit a fender bender, and waited a few hours until someone showed up. I can't imagine the wait for a dollie.
