If you ordered through sideshow you may be able to get your NRD back. They kind of seem to know that this is a bit sketchy. They couldn't help me because I cancelled more than 48 hours ago, but it's always worth a shot.

Maybe anyone with an NRD through Sideshow should just keep the order versus canceling...this way when M8 disappears and Sideshow realizes that no figures will ship they will cancel the orders and refund the NRDs themselves...you cancel now you get nothing...

What ****ing effect is this company gonna have on those suppliers that have got into bed with them? I hope they haven't sunk any money into molecule8 as there's precious few distributors of hot toys etc already.

Means absolutely nothing about them as a business now.

That really would be a game changer, especially if you could buy them for non-existent money.
The company's subtitle is "Limited Edition Figures".

They said they would have refunded me if it had been under 48 hours. After that the reps can't do it. The woman it was odd they were on the site with the photos offered.

She said they still believe a figure will come out, but I've never had a rep tell me that they had no idea how well the figure would be able to pose. The fact that I've already used my one time complimentary refund on a NRD when I had this conversation makes me feel pretty confidant that Sideshow is feeling some heat on this now.

Everything they have shown suggests that they would literally be starting from scratch on this...all the while they are "developing" a 1/6 grand piano...? I do not think it is unrealistic that M8 will actually not release a figure...sometimes companies simply fail...
