Any old Joe with an EBay account knows that giving a refund takes two seconds through PayPal...I would assume though that if Paypal has closed M8's account things would possibly be more complicated...the lack of communication on their part, however, is pretty dirty...

He made a mistake by paying as a gift sure...but they absolutely know that he did not intend to give them a $300 random gift...regardless of PayPal's policy any business with a shred of integrity would voluntarily grant a refund.

Yes I made a mistake of sending the payment as gift. I don't even know why I did this with M8. I'm kicking myself over this, but for sure I learned my lesson big time! Please don't kick me while I'm down. I know that it was a stupid move on my part. It's bad enough for me now that it looks like I may not get my refund back and yes, they were aware that I paid as gift to them. They kept reassuring me they will refund the payment back to me, regardless. They did give me their word and they repeatedly said that they will figure this out and make sure I get my payment back. I have all of the emails from them. And now all of the sudden there's no communication since Friday. Isn't it funny that there's no phone number listed on their website or Facebook to call them?

So many dudes here (as there are no girls) get pleasure from being very negative. Ya try to be positive you get labeled a 'defender'. Folks ask you for your opinion, you give it, you are called a defender. You have nothing more to say as folks don't want to listen to what you have to say, you are accused of 'strangely going all silent'.
It's like arguing with teen girls man! like really vapid teen girls.
Folks being annoyed and unhappy is fine, folks felling they might get burned as other companies have done a legger, that's fine too. But Sideshow freaks has become a right little hate pit hasn't it and there's far too many little boys (no girls) here taking way too much pleasure in thinking the absolute worst and just running with that.
I figure M8 are just squarely focused on getting the damn thing done and done well. If not they fail. No company wants to fail but some here will not accept this far out notion.
