i have the feeling that molecule8 already got disapproval letter from
the lennon estate. they are going to use it as an excuse to abandon
the lennon project. and start the whole process again with willy wonka!

What if they have everything but the heads done?

The main thing that would need approval is the head and from speaking with Lee the Lennon estate has been involved through the whole process! Which leads me to think that this will be approved given they have had a huge hand in this! So how I'd imagine this is looking right now, headless complete Lennon figure the clothing etc complete. Once the head has had the stamp of approval then it's off to painting with the casts. A factory of painters it's not unrealistic but then I could be totally wrong!

I think to many of you guys want this company to fail so that you don't have to eat your own words, that also works with the ones who want to see this work!
My point is we don't know what exactly is going on and only time will tell. October is just around the corner so maybe we should wait for the final unveil and then supposed shipping?

I'm curious for the 27th to see how this turns out! Who know's only time will tell but I'm seriously hoping it's a huge step up from the unfinished piece that was shown!

Just looking at the sculpt paint and the hand quality from my previous post it looks improved...

Who in the hell isl worried about eating their words? I hope they prove me wrong. But when you're a brand new company on the scene and you're going to brag on how revolutionary your first release is going to be you better deliver. They continued a lie on a release date even though many people questioned them on it. It remains to be seen what kind of bait and switch they will do with the final release. I still want to see this Terminator skeleton they say they will be using in their base bodies. They earned every bit of the ridicule they are getting. Now it is up to them to win people back.

Yep...as a Lennon fan and a huge 1/6 figure collector there is no way on earth that I would ever care more about "eating my words" in front of total strangers on the internet over having an amazing figure in my collection to enjoy. Heck I will take a great figure, buy and enjoy it and still talk about how much I hate it on this thread if I really care that much about eating words...I think some folks just see where this is all going...

i think they will use a much simplified terminator skeleton as the base body. then they can say they keep their promise.

Love the way they've given such a definite date - 27th - as if that actually meant something.
