Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

27th of September we'll see how the final piece looks.....This could get a whole lot of interesting!

"We are happy to inform you that the John Lennon "Imagine" figure is now complete, and pending licensor approval the final product will be shown on the 27th of September with a ship date of October. Thank you all for your continued support and patience."

So they're going to have the figure made and shipped in a month? Yeah, zero chance of that turnaround.

I suppose they could literally be making every other item besides the headsculpt and then once they get the approval bang the heads out, and ship a few in asia by Oct 31? Haha how many orders are still standing right now after all the cancellations anyway?

What if the Lennon estate decided they weren't happy with Molecule8 and wanted to terminate their relationship?

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

yeah makes NO SENSE to produce a figure without final approval- so guess what that really means.........

Well then they're totally ****ed in that case. But that seems pretty unlikely. It's not like there's another company out there making Lennon figures they're going to run to.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Exactly. They would be screwed with the warehouse full of Lennons that they could not sell.

And a warehouse full of dolls would be renamed and sold as Joan Lennens and be considered bootlegs and this thread would be deleted because we can't have nice things here anymore.

Not that this was nice. har har har.

The Lennon estate is so loaded with cash do you really think they have to even offer his likeness up for merchandise?

Haha well I'm totally sure that would happen if they went off and cancelled it.

Well they did apparently? What does that tell you? Yoko's gotta eat.

Yoko is living it up, trust me. The estate surely has pockets that are bottomless.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

I remember reading somewhere that Lennon's estate has an estimated worth of about $850 billion dollars. :rip

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

I think it is actually around $800 Million with an "M" but that is still more than enough!

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

So true. Paul is worth a few billion. He is the most successful musician in history. :panic:
