Their post said "pending licensor approval " it will be shown on the 27th. Their excuse this time will be that it wasn't approved so they can't show it. Wow. Bunch of liars. Shady as hell.

The PayPal protection date is going to close at the end of the month. I really think anyone with a lick of sense at this point should bail out while they can. You can always reorder later IF this somehow gets made.

Well, when you have been scammed enough you become a cynic....which is why I doubted them after only a few months.

Nothing wrong with being optimistic. Except in the case where your money is on the line.

Truly a shame this did not even materialize in any form.

I wonder how much money they got out of this so far.

My guess is they were actually developing a figure. With little knowledge of the actual process. I also surmise they were working with capital generated from pre orders. Once the first non rendered photos piped up they lost most of the revenue and decided to abandon or scale back production.

Curious to see what me next for the CEO. He sounds like a get rich quick kinda guy.

Maybe selling vacation condos in Puerto Rico

Nothing's ever going to materialise from this company and six months from now you'll hear about them quietly being shuttered thanks to some eagle-eyed Freak keeping an eye on business news. I'd bet my favourite figure on it.

Yeah. They are to me like Star Ace Toys Ltd that hire good sculptors, make rather nice prototypes (mostly), and than release HT price range subpar product. That is what I expect from Molecule8, and their biggest fail is that they do not say directly what and when they are doing, or what problems they have. I don't think they are total scam, because the did acquire licences, it is that they are not doing things right customer-wise and overestimated their abilities.
And I am still not ready to preorder something without even seeing the prototype. Sorry, that is not how 1/6 (1/4) business works.
