Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Why is it that the last facebook update about the 27th says 159 comments but when I try to look at them I can only see 5 or 6 comments?
I tried to see if it was a loading problem but it really isn't. Have the comments been made private? It's not anproblem with my app it works fine and great internet etc

Thanks, I thought it was something like that. What a disaster, I'm sure they think it will all be forgotten once the figure is released but I certainly won't forget their incompetent contradictory behaviour in terms of PR. One minute it's nearly finished, next they are delaying for a new accessory, then the headsculpt is not finished, then... nothing. Soooooo bad, I don't trust them, I don't like how they have put themselves out there and I certainly don't like their sneaky Comment deleting tactics. I think they actually don't care about 1/6 scale enthusiasts. They want beatle fanatics, people who buy £500 yellow submarine statues, rare figures and vinyls. People who don't really know this is possibly coming into existence yet - Basically people not in SSF forums. I think they want to be a royal doulton style company, posting ads in the magazines beatle maniacs read and offering payment plans etc that would be the only reason they have shown such contempt for us, they simply don't care about us, our comments, our money etc

In the corporate world when the company's rep has taken an irreparable beating often times you see them re-name themselves. Great example right now is time warner cable becoming "Spectrum" or Nationstar Mortgage becoming "Mr. Cooper". It's a way to try to wipe the slate clean without actually doing anything.

Vijay will probably rename them so they
Can at least meet expectations. So please welcome the new company on the scene: LUKEWARM TOYZ with the slogan "You'll probably think we're OK"

But if the comments were deleted, then only the number of comments left should show up?
I often have that with Facebook (on other pages) that the number of comments is more than what I get shown. There is some FB filter going on. Often people don't really leave a comment, but only tag a friend who they want to see the post, and FB is filtering them out and only showing real comments. Sometimes I keep clicking and clicking until I get the whole list and then see that I didn't really miss anything interesting.

I don't know if that is what was the reason here, just trying to offer another explanation.

No they are deleting negative comments.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Numerous posts were visibly deleted. It likely contributed to whatever the fb problem is. Do we have any idea how many posts were removed, dozens? This companys done nothing but set itself up for failure. Each new move they make proves it.

Yes, it has been said, but what I don't understand is why for example if there were 100 comments before and 60 got deleted, it still says 100 and not 40. The number is supposed to show the actual number of comments. Unless they were deleted in just the split second one clicks onto the number. Easy to check then if the number is the same one minute later or not.

Yeah someone may start a Facebook Comment Delete thread for that...in the meantime I think M8 is deleting the comments.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

if they are deleting comments, then they are still planning on being in business. If they were out, they wouldn't care.

Thats not accurate at all, they could be deleting threads so people don't take the advice of cancelling orders before PP expires.

Yup...there are a whole bunch of people who collect 1/6 figures and Lennon stuff that have never even heard of SSF and may stumble across this figure or the M8 FB page...I feel bad for them as they unwittingly stumble into pre-ordering from M8...thanks to their Facebook deletions I bet someone is pre-ordering even as I type this...

I agree wholeheartedly!

When I started out in this adventure, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt when they missed the first deadline, and even when they started making excuses saying that they wanted to include a guitar, etc.

Integrity has been compromised not once, twice, or three times, but multiple times. From the very beginning you guys sniffed it out. If it wasn't for Paypal (with no response at all from Molecule8) refunding me, I would have been up the creek. Now, it sounds like they're snagging people with credit cards, and who are clueless about this thread....sad....sad...sad!

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Vijay Peter moleyneuxed the **** out of this figure.

Seem to remember in one of my earliest posts wondering how much Vijay might have learned from Molyneux ;) Looks like plenty of the bad stuff, but without then at least still delivering something :rotfl

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

I posted something pretty innocuous earlier. The count said there were a 116 posts. My posts is still there and a new one after me. The counter now says there are over 150 posts. They are deleting a lot of posts.
