Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Are you serious?

ETA This thread sucks because I can't tell what is sarcasm and what isn't. I don't believe people actually signed a NDA but did M8 actually use it as a reason why we aren't seeing pics?

M8 said they shipped out the first 250 out to people in Asia, but said don’t say that you have it and don’t post pics anywhere. WTF...why say no to free marketing :lol

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

They likely still owe the artist's money even before anything gets molded and made. All we've really seen is a borrowed sculpt and a lot of renderings. I've never seen anything factory oriented. If they had such a picture they'd likely post it and say: see, here's figures being made right now!

I know. You’d think they’d at least post a in factory pic to calm some nerves

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

"Thank you for your patience" has got to be one of the most condescending phrases.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Remember when they made an actual fb event for the release of the figure. Man that was bold, but then again not out of character.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

They can't disclose it

A- Yoko is being a dbag
B- Moleculesh**t don't have a production of the figure
C - They spent all the money betting on a horse
D - Issue's lots of issue's
E - all of the above.

What a rubbish company this is I no longer want my Lennon already got ****ed over by that d**khead at shrunken head studios for my creeps how figure let alone these Dbags! :lecture

Yeah, there's a ton of things any reasonable company could easily do to show proof, or even mislead a bit more convincingly, or progress. They are doing nothing which is even more concerning as they're barely able to try. And good luck to anyone who prepaid... I doubt you'll ever see a figure or your money again.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

Surely at this point a bit of transparency beats an nda all day long.
It's no good saying we know it didn't ship when we said it did but we can't tell you why.

Re: Molecule8 - 1/6th Scale John Lennon

There's no other reason other then they don't have money enough to complete the manufacturing process.

That assumes they started it. With the little money they raised that wasn't refunded, maybe they didn't have enough to even start. It's possible that money is being tied up because artists have claims on it for their work -- which we have seen. But we've never seen anything that look like it came from a factory.

Yes, we have.

The headsculpt that everyone was making fun of, the one they said they would add detail to in the next step. The figure from that overseas toy show, that was part of the Seven booth.

They've shown the production sample, in that line-up of the three outfits. When they announced it had been approved by the Lennon estate. It's pretty clear it's degraded from the hand-painted proto.

That endo that was majorly stepped down from that skeleton-looking render that was posted at the outset.

They've shown a number of molded pieces, like the hands, the boot bottoms.
