I wish more companies would understand what Hot Toys is seemingly starting to understand: it hurts a likeness to separate the head from the neck. This figure definitely suffers from that.

Of course it doesn’t help that the head shrunk a whole scale point.

Looks alright, I ordered through a retailer, so hopefully I will get mine in the next 2 months.

Really need to find a smaller scale body for the green jacket and white pants.

It looks better from a distance. Those macro shots hurt this figure bad. Are those ink marks on his cheeks? Seems like they are on both sides of the singing sculpt.

I think they’re supposed to be his freckles.

The mark 1 skeleton is NOT inside this thing. M8 themselves confirmed this with pics of a mark 1 lite. Which looked similar to a phicen endo.

Anyway, its not a disaster. Looks OK. Lanky as hell. Perhaps a body swap would help. Of course, I haven't seen this up against another figure yet. Those pictures will tell a lot more.

But all in all, for $300, you get three outfits and a guitar -- just as undersized as HT Yoda's lantern. Not bad I guess.

I thought they had said elements of the endo mk I are not here (ie the skull and the hands).

It's also the reason the neck is so long on the figure. Lack of research is apparent.

Agreed, those proportions remind me of the old buck body. Curious to see if some proper posing can save this body.

Could you pose next to another figure in your collection as a size comparison and maybe put the Lennon sculpt on another figure to see the scale?
What are the joints like and how do they feel, does the skeleton hold the pose?
Also when you remove the head/hands/feet can you see the metal endo inside?

Problem with that is the outfits wouldn't of worked.... you'd have a hideous seem showing where the neck post sits especially on the black t shirt one.
In some pics it looks in scale in others it doesn't. This kinda looks for me like a 3rd party figure.

The certificate doesn't have the endo on it just plain with lennon. What's behind that cerftciate is a leaflet I think.

If M8 could have just kept their mouth shut and come on to the 1/6 scene as another company to the fray this would have been a nice, not revolutionary, way to enter. It's been--what-- a little over a year since this was announced? And I don't mean their BS about it being done. I guess hype does matter since it got most of us here. This thing has flaws and is in line with some second even third tier companies in the hobby. If they survive hopefully they improve and stop the BS. Just produce the damn thing.

Just received mine. Honestly it exceeds my expectation a lot!

That skeleton will exceed logic and reality. No such thing inside. You have #98 of 1,000 lies.
