Re: Molecule8 (New company)

The body is a nice looking piece. But for comparison, the HT Genisys Endoskeleton is more impressive. Sure it's not space age aluminum polished with preserved John Lennon tears, but eh. :dunno

Re: Molecule8 (New company)

Yes, but Molecule8's endo didn't RAPE EVERYONE'S CHILDHOOD!

They are doing a number on my adulthood by even teasing the possibility of a licensed 1/6 scale Taxi Driver!!!!

Re: Molecule8 (New company)

Do not forget that Asmus have their licence for a limited time, so we never know. But let's just have at least one figure out from molecule8.

Yes, limited just like every license holder.

But Asmus has been very straight forward since the beginning... even during that other confusing time when ACI claimed to have the license but only delivered two figures.

At this point, between the two, I'll trust Asmus.

Re: Molecule8 (New company)

Seems like SS is following the same path....shipping Snowspeeder Luke without showing the figure...

Re: Molecule8 (New company)

Have you seen the film's he's whored himself out too in recent yesrs, it probably didn't take much.
That's definitely true, but I'm not aware of any collectible that employs his likeness. Having said that, Bill Murray and Michael J. Fox wouldn't license their likenesses out for many years, until they both did.

Titanium endo Carl Spackler?

You probably got me wrong. What I'm trying to say, that there is always some way to produce something if you really want.
I am not happy with Asmus sculpts, but I am more skeptical about new levels of quality from Molecule8. The way they always say "soon... follow our news" on most questions and the fact that there is no product yet, does not add to great expectations from them either.

I think we may have been looking at the layered skin over the endoskeleton all along! This seems like a good match for lennon's chest and neck area, and you can see where the seam is where the neck attaches to the body. If I'm correct, I will be really pleased! Look in between the necklace bands...

I think that's a stretch. They've already admitted as much that they don't have pics.

If that actually was the body, they'd show the full thing. Perhaps that's the digital model that they're turning into the physical product, but I'm pretty sure that picture is just CG.
