You probably got me wrong. What I'm trying to say, that there is always some way to produce something if you really want.
I am not happy with Asmus sculpts, but I am more skeptical about new levels of quality from Molecule8. The way they always say "soon... follow our news" on most questions and the fact that there is no product yet, does not add to great expectations from them either.
I see now they have their distributors up, Sideshow is a big one to get for your first product, maybe they know something we don't?
I think we may have been looking at the layered skin over the endoskeleton all along! This seems like a good match for lennon's chest and neck area, and you can see where the seam is where the neck attaches to the body. If I'm correct, I will be really pleased! Look in between the necklace bands...

CG or not, those knots just ain't 1/6th scale. Can't believe people are justifying their dreams by pictures like this without even looking hard at it.
More and more, Molecule8 seems to have taken a page out of the how-to-disappoint-fanbase-in-three-easy-steps.

I disagree I think apart from the preorder they have done extremely well.
Look at the curiosity/hype and tension they have built in the matter of time.
For me the background digging license holding confirmation and sideshow distribution I think that show's they are legit.
They have created more buzz and hype than I've seen hot toys do in a very long time!
I'm still not sure on the body I don't get the pricing behind the body alone compared to the figure? Not to mention if the body breaks can you replace it with a normal body?
I'm actually really excited for this company. There's a huge gap in the market at the moment due to Hot toys being busy with Disney, blitzway do like 2 pieces a year if that ? Apart from these 3rd party bootleg companies there no one else is touching the markets for iconic films.

However, I'm with the camp that this figure will not live up to the hype.
I don't subscribe to the super market tabloid "any publicity is good publicity" nonsense....
It's almost like some of you are looking for reasons to justify the higher price tags these figures are going to fetch. You're like, I'll gladly pay the minimum 100 dollars extra to get the same articulation a much cheaper body will provide. I mean this inner skeleton that I will never see really looks cool and I like paying extra money for figs because even though the formulas not broke, it definitely needs fixed.
If the body is truly jointed like the picture shows, what kind of sense does it make to put a jointed skeleton, inside of a jointed body? And then you get besides yourselves that we collectors have the audacity to question this great new company who is promising so much, and yet has shown so little. Some of you must have a **** ton of money to not care about any of the warning signs.
