Good thing they are the only 1/6 figure company to ever delay the release of an item or else I could understand why some of you are getting so upset at the shifting timeline. The audacity to think they could delay a figure and collectors would stand for it!

I have a feeling that if this release is a huge success, we are going to see a substantial price hike on the following releases.

Very skeptical- read everything that has happened up to now- changes- promises-changes- well too much PR work and not enough facts. I will believe it once Sideshow lists this up for PO on their site

It's not the time line, it's everything. First this company no one has ever heard up promises a revolutionary figure that was going to ship in May. Now it's July. They have this over engineered stainless steel skeleton that they are going to use inside of their bodies. Now we know the bodies will have molded hands. They are being very tight lipped about how the head sculpt is going to fit over top of the over engineered skull that they have shown. Now they are giving us not 1, not 2, but 3 different outfits and 2 sculpts for the cheap as hell price of 300 bucks. Which according to their own MSRP, 200.00 of that is for the skeleton. Excuse me for being sceptical.

Interesting difference between hot toys charging $300 and Molecule8 is Molecule seem to want to deliver more than the average figure.
Hot toys figures are over priced for what you get especially in UK because of the import and handling taxes. My biggest question is can they deliver quality?
When people say $100 for an extra sculpt etc think about it logically? New Sparrow is like $280 and look what you are getting, the interesting price factor is the body right? The endo is up for PO as a stand alone piece but has fancy bits to show it off hence the price.
My biggest worry is can you use the head on a normal body?
I have total faith in this company your average bag and run company don't acquire licenses let alone set up distribution via sideshow.
Also for those wanting to order in the UK Thegoodthebadtherobots i.e. Lee Ward has them for PO with a £30 deposit!

Pretty sure it's not a scam...now will they produce a good figure...? That is anyone's guess since they have never released a figure before...hoping for the best but will not even be slightly surprised if the final product does not live up to the promise...I'll give them $300 it it does though...

Hot Toys miss the mark every now and again, but a lot of this is due to high expectations to begin with. They're not 'average', they're the benchmark.
You can't hang UK taxes and duties on the Hot Toys - their MSRPs are largely reasonable in the context of license costs and increasing production costs.
Can they deliver quality? Can you use the head on a normal body? Yup, ponying up $300 with those questions unanswered is absolutely all about 'faith' and 'feelings'
