IF the final product even hits 80% of what we've seen, with the level of detail in the sculpts, paint, and accessories, $300 is completely fair. Heck, the glasses alone would cost $300 in a custom run

Three outfits and two sculpts is certainly worth $300 in my opinion. Better value than Hot Toys I'd argue IF they do deliver the quality they are promising.

I think $300 for 2 sculpts and 3 outfits is quite fair. I also know that this will be worth more in the future. Lennon stuff always is. So I'm getting it while the price is low.

you forgot the 200 dollar stainless steel endo skeleton inside the figure.

Maybe the inflation in 1:6 over the past 6 years has been the result of hot air? M8 may be offering a more realistic price point than we have grown accustomed to seeing?

Yeah I see this as priced fairly appropriately; they're just giving you additional outfits, not additional bodies.

The skeleton doesn't cost them $200. It's not the same release as the endo by itself either b/c it has skin.

Anyway, I think this release is $50 more than Wonka because of licensing. If Wonka lives up to what they're saying he comes with (an Oompa Loopa!) and two head sculpts for $250, that may be the goal price for Molecule8, and I'm definitely on board with anything I actually want for that price if they give 2 headsculpts and all of those accessories.

It does look great, but even HT & SS prototype hand painted samples always look better too.. Really have to wait and judge it by the production piece. I don't really care to buy real people though, only movie, comic, scifi stuff, but eager to see how this turns out and what else they make. That endoskeleton looks amazing. Would be cool to own, but not for $200.

Curious how the head sculpts fit onto the body.

I'm guessing they'll remove the neck from the sculpt? If not, then there would be a visible neck seam and that won't look good considering 2 out of 3 (maybe all) outfits have exposed chest.

A great looking singing sculpt, but yet the figure doesn't include a guitar. At least not that I've seen?

Yes, it doesn't include a guitar, however the package is very generous in what it includes. You can pick up a 1/6 scale acoustic very easily. Don't forget that the figure depicts him from "Imagine" where he's playing a piano. A bit more of a challenge to find one of those at a reasonable cost in scale..

I don't know how they're going to do it but yeah, that'd make more sense. I suppose this is just for tests and the paint, being easier to handle.
