Cool. I wonder if the hat will be cloth with an elastic brim to fit around the hair or a second head sculpt with the hat molded on, will be included.

My guess is two sculpts. They don't seem to be shy including whatever it takes for a great package overall.

In the Podcast Vijay mentioned the choice of Wonka's hair not being easy as it's messy.
However I wonder if this will be haired or sculpted.

I'd really like to have a singing sculpt for him holding the Mushroom cane!

I believe he says that it was a difficult decision but that they decided on sculpted in the end.

Sculpted will be the best bet IMO. "Real" hair for him would be tough to get done just right. Rainman's approach wasn't universally loved, and he put a great deal of effort into it.

I'd be happy with sculpted least that way you have a choice of having it rooted if you wanted.

Owen, although we both have the best Wonka out there, you have to admit that this sculpt is the best so far.

Without a doubt man I couldn't agree more. I'm really hoping this turns out to be a top notch set!
On the + side having the custom set you can use the 2nd expression and extra's + you get another Ompa for the Ompa Lompa army!

I'm over the moon that this is happening for so many reasons....I think Wonka is 1 piece that needed to be shared in the 1:6 hobby!
The sculpt is looking amazing, bring on the painted Prototype sculpt and 2nd sculpt!

With Pre Order going up 1st of August I'm hoping we see a full reveal or at least a proto

I've definitely been out of the loop, but the skeleton is supposed to be part of the figures right? But you can buy the skeleton for $200; but if you buy a full figure with 2 heads and 3 outfits it's only $100 more?

Strange right...well they come from the video game industry that is always prepared to take losses on consoles to make their money back on software licensing and other things...razor and razor blade strategy...maybe they plan to lose a bunch of money on their first figures to lock in a consumer base and then make it back later...? With all the stuff that is coming with these figures and the rockstar sculptors there is no way that they are not losing money...but if that is simply part of a longer term strategy and I can get $500 worth of figure for $250-$300 what do I care...

So it seems. But until a figure ships we might not know the answer for sure. Lennon will reveal all. Thank goodness I'm only interested in Wonka. That is a nice looking Wonka sculpt too, hope it holds up after production and paint.

Speaking of which, why are we still waiting to see a Lennon figure that they promised to show 3-4 weeks ago?

Come on, nobody is losing money on this ****. They're SPENDING money now with no income, that's just how any business starts. But the final cost for each figure will have a profit built into it. Especially a $200 skeleton.
