Well, if they are actively deceiving people into paying them for something they have no intention of delivering, they could be looking at some serious charges...
As far as I know, both the US and the EU have pretty strict laws regarding this sort of internet scam.

Not saying M8 is actually trying to commit a crime/felony/whatever, just saying...

Sadly they will be fine...they have enough evidence (reputable sculptors, "production" photos, etc.) to make a case that they were genuinely attempting to produce a figure. They will simply concede that they were in over their heads, got crushed by refunds when "impatient collectors" demanded they hit "impossible deadlines" (never mind the fact that they were the ones who manufactured the ridiculous deadlines), file for bankruptcy and start up some other shady business that probably will have nothing to do with 1/6 figures. Other than their own personal financial losses and lost credibility if they ever do attempt to return to the 1/6 figure industry, there will be no other penalties for them.

We should make a pact like the kids in "It." After Molecule 8 folds if these guys ever form another company again we will re-open this thread to warn future collectors not to trust them with pre-order money.

After speaking with a few people I can confirm Wonka will be going up through retailers soon - So I'd again order through a retailer no fee or small deposit still play it safe!

As for Lennon this is a big improvement still not keen on the imagine jacket size though. Mind it's meant to be done up so could explain why it's baggy.

Hopefully this means an end to a very messy first figure launch, I also hope M8 are learning lessons and what they put out there needs to be consistent with what they tell people. Their PR is dire! I do not trust them and that is solely their fault.
