hey everyone, hoping to get the first 3 done within the month.

i also edited the first post for all newcomers who might have interest in this piece.
to all of you who have already ordered, you are the lucky ones! it pays to get on the list early.
here is the added text....

* due to the underestimated work and materials cost associated with this base, the first 8 people on the list should feel very very lucky! hate to do it, but the price has to go up if i am to take more orders past these initial 8. the mold will have to be re done, and i wont do it unless i have at least 3 more people on board. just one of the drawbacks of doing everything yourself, by hand i suppose! haha i have a feeling once people start getting their bases and taking photos, word will spread, and there will be more interest, so i needed to chime in and mention that the new price will be 300.00 shipping NOT included this time. sorry to do it. i know its hard for people to imagine why it would cost that much, but trust me, doing it alone, one base is about 48 hours of work, and the material cost is... alot.
im not complaining, i love these things, and will be SO HAPPY to see them in people photos, but its tons of work.
i also appreciate everyones patience with the process, if this were my only job i would have been able to bust these things out. but unfortunately it is not. thank you all! *

It's such an awesome project Ben and I think you're right. After pictures are taken and posted (I know I will) you'll be getting more orders.

Sorry to hear about the hardships this project is causing and I hope it doesn't interfere with your personal life.

Funny you should increase to $300 because I was thinking, if Hot Toys made this dio, that's just about what I think they would charge.

no, not interfering, just wish i could pump them out faster and easier, so i could charge less.

yeah i know. its alot of scratch. but you really dont know how much work it is until you start doing it, and things start happening for better or worse.

for example, the mold took me about 3 days to make, cost about 250.00 in materials, so not even counting the time thats a free base. haha and with every cast that mold rips, or rips get worse... its scary. haha, im def. not complaining, and i dont want to sound _____y. i love doing this, and will make another dio ( for Y4NK33 PL4N3T) but i will think more ahead about what goes into it.

thats my goal! if i can get some more interest in it once these are released, id actually be happy to make a really diesel mold and really go to town. this mold only has about 4 more casts in it... just

One thing I noticed about the crowd is that in the film the fans aren't ground level like you have Photoshopped in that pic. Not sure if you noticed that but figured I'd mention it since you're %99.99 film accurate
