Hell, Mondo already has a factory sample of the tiki mug they just PO'd last week

They put out the Baby Hellboy pretty fast aswell. I think what really set these guys back was the fact that the first factory sample shown still had the pin holes at the joints and the extremely floppy legs. Those are pretty big issues to work out.

The shipping thing, I see the reason for shipping them from the factory at the same time, but surely they could have asked Sideshow to hold off on shipping until Mondo had received their shipment? Atleast I'm getting the exclusives in the end.

Mondo should have had thier shipment leave before the other so it got to them first

Had to cancel my order..couldn't swing it after all this time of year. Look forward to seeing everyone's pics though :(

From Brock on Technodrome forums:

"Never said there was another delay. Just that Sideshow was getting theirs before ours (boring reason, but basically we ship to our warehouse and Sideshow at the same time from China, but Sideshow just needs to get to the port in LA, while ours needs to go down to either the panama canal or around cape horn to get to the port in Houston, then trucked to Austin. It's a geography thing, so like I said- boring)."

Wow, the Panama Canal? It has to arrive in CA, then travel down to Panama, spend a day on the canal and then go into port and then trucked to the warehouse to be sorted and then shipped out. That would put this out about another couple of weeks really for Mondo customers right?

I'm actually surprised that Mondo would allow SSC to pick it up directly from the docks. Probably to reduce cost of shipping them from Austin to CA since they're already there?

Agreed. Mondo is acting all rookie with selling and shipping figures.

Technically they are on this scale, but they've done stuff before now & should have known

The figure scale is new but getting stuff shipped to folks isn't. I don't think you can cut Mondo slack on that end.

Brock posted on the Technodrome that they will prioritise the Exclusives when they start shipping.

Meh, I've waited for over a year, I can wait for a boat to go around a continent

Bizarre that they didn't just jet them to Austin. I mean, the amount they charged for shipping should easily covered it

I paid a disgusting amount for shipping to Canada just so I could get the exclusive. I'm feeling less optimistic and getting a bit annoyed at all of this.

The quality better be on point and when it does ship, I better not have any problems. I dished out a lot of money and have waited a long time.

One would think they would. But Mondo has really shown rust when it comes to this process. I appreciate them making sure the joint quality is good. But for the price of these as well as shipping costs, they have such a small amount of room for error.

Here's some perspective on this: when I first ordered Leonardo in 2015, my daughter was 6 months old. When we probably get the final turtle (Raphael), she will be close to starting preschool.

My son is now 6 weeks old, I hope we get all the Turtles by the time he starts preschool! :lol

And whatever happened to the Mousers that seemed they were ready to go out?

Dang! Sideshow is charging $20 to ship this? They must be charging you to actually pack out the item since their warehouse is used to just slapping labels on all the Hot Toys boxes they send out :lol
