Brock has stated that due to the fact that they can't reuse the body there is less chance of him being made.

Hopefully the line will be a sucess and justify a Splinter anyway.

There's something very Nostaligic to me i use to sit draw TMNT all the time. They are so easy to draw starting from headbands & eyes on down and wish i held onto my old comics and not sold long long ago. I dont know if would call it copying but learned to draw from my favorite comics just copying from eye to my hand to paper and did this 4 hours from X'MEN to spidey and started with lol GARFIELD & ODIE. After a while it was just easy memory LOVED Todd Mcfarlane's style drawing Spawn n spidey and Marvel. Anyway Cant wait 4 these guys from Mondo they make just AMAZING POSTER'S and our just great artists. Thank u again Mondo cant wait.

Oh yeah, there's definitely nostalgia at play for me as well. My three friends and I were obsessed with TMNT. It was also pretty cool that each of us liked a different Turtle.

ha ha yea one Halloween we all went out with real ninja weapons b4 when still able do crazy stuff like that lol. We started our night eating pizza's and ruled the neighborhood with nunchucks ,sais ,swords dressed up as ninjas lol good fun times ha ha...tons of candy that night.

I can understand the whole "no way to reuse parts" mentality, but with a character like Splinter,
they NEED to find a way to produce him. Why not make him a SDCC exclusive or something along those lines?

Or, charge double for him to cover the production costs. I would pay it to complete the line if it was the only way to get him made.

They will be making a decent return on the 4 Turtles due to all plastic and re-used parts, it's not like they are cheap either...

Seems a bit of a slight to fans to not do splinter just because they can't re-use the parts. Wish it wasn't all about the $$$

To be fair they have only said that he is less likely, not that the won't make him.

Triceratron towers over them...the turtles are only 5' 8 or so and these figures are around 12" in 1/6 scale

That's a good point about body reuse. And for the Foot Soldier to.

This is why I'm being cautious of this line. I'm not ordering any of them until we get reviews of Leo. If he turns out good I will order Donny. If the line stops after the four Turtles I will only stick with the one and will not bother with the other 3.
