Mondo 1/6 Scale He-man and The Masters of the Universe figures

Shaithis77 - would Mondo ever consider releasing accessory packs for the 1/6 figures? I would love to see you guys revisit the He-Man headsculpt, as the normal head is too animated for my tastes and the vintage head just doesn't fit the aesthetic of the rest of the figure. Also, some additional hands for better grip on the melee weapons are a must. A head, 2 sets of hands, and an extra accessory or two for $30 - $40 would be a good way to upgrade the base releases.

If we do new heads, it would be with a new figure. I love the head we made, so see no reason to "revisit" it. Now would we do a new He-man head sculpt with a new version of He-Man? Sure.

As for a weapon pack, maybe. I don't know about making a $40 pack. I'd like it to be something more significant than that, as I don't think there are enough people buying accessory packs to support it at that price. I'd like there to be incentive for more people to by it. What that is? I don't know.

Fun fact- the original design for the figure included a Filmation head. I cut it because I wanted to save it for inclusion with other products down the line (I'm not against doing something like Filmation heads included with other figures or packs).

Oh, wow! That's cool! Anyway, I'm supporting all the He Man stuff you put out. I'll be jumping on the Mondo exclusive Faker (I really dig the battle damaged head) pretty soon. Really hoping you put out the Filmation one down the road.

Would be very interested in seeing this. On paper, this line would've been an "all in" situation, but the current He-Man head just looks awkward. Not crazy about the shading on the body either, especially down the middle of the abs. I'd honestly have preferred none if given the choice. Hope it's more toned down on Skeletor and the others.

Right now the villains and allies look excellent, but it's a shame the titular hero isn't all I'd like him to be.

Personally I cannot wait to see Teela getting revealed. Will she have red hair? Or blond hair? Will she come with her snake armor or without it? Wil she have long hair? What weapons will be included? I am so in love with the He-Man figure that I cannot wait to see more and more characters get made. :-D

Yup, I got that email as well. Personally, I never mind the delays. To me it's better than if it's rushed out, plus it helps spread out the purchases. Looking forward to it!

Delays happen and most of the time it leads to a better end product. However, this line was announced like, what, 4 years ago? I have He-Man and I think it’s great, but seriously, they should’ve had at least 4-6 characters out by now. I mean, Faker is basically a different color He-Man with Skeletor’s chest piece. I mean, come on. It’s a lot to ask of fans to hold on this long and I also expect many fans to give up or lose interest due to the wait and that is not good for us who really want these. This is clearly a case of needing to strike while the iron is hot, now there’s going to be He-Man stuff by Mattel and people might just flock to that. I want a 1/6 Trap Jaw someday, hopefully in less than 10 years. At this rate, I will get it shipped to the nursing home I’ll be at and display it on the nightstand by my dentures and Viagra bottle.
