Scare mare looks pretty cool (although the price of the set is pretty high). I resisted given how much room these Mondo collectibles take up and still hoping to see Swiftwind and sad that Swifty didn't get made before "Scare Mare" who is not exactly iconic...

My Teela showed up about a week ago or so. Caught me totally off guard. She came out pretty well.
You got it early, didn’t get my Teela until today.

I remember the Panthor 1st batch got an early release.

As an FYI Panthor never got later batches. It was marketed as the first people to preorder would get the first batch early release and later preorders would have to wait for the normal production run to come in. Everyone who preordered on the last day, still received the early batch. There were not enough preorders to warrant a second batch. I also believe Panthor was sold as like a "warehouse find" for the remaining stock.

Speaking of Panthor, what in the hell ever happened to the "flocked" version?

If they cancelled it, it sure would have been nice to tell everyone, for those who passed on the
regular version and wait for the flocked one... like myself.

Yikes! That’s terrible.

IIRC, one of the 2 Mondo guys (Peter or Hector) said recently on a livestream that it has been challenging with the flock material not flaking, especially when articulating over time in poses.

But I do not recall them saying it was cancelled. Maybe it will show up at a Con as a Limited edition. Initially I was going to wait for Flocked but ended up getting the standard - still unopened in my garage.

Forget if I saw this on the Mondo channel or if the Mondo guys were a guest on another channel.

It's basically shelved indefinitely as they don't want to say "never."

I don't think it will ever happen because of many factors. First it's hard to do the flocking without the rubbing at all the articulation points. Second, there is a law somewhere internationally, I think in the UK, where you can't sell things that have micro plastic particals, because that's bad for the evnrionment, so the flocking material can't be sold in that region. Third, they didn't get enough preorders to even sell through their first batch of regular Panthors. It would be extremely difficult for them to produce a flocked Panthor that is in any way break even/profitable for them.

Also, if it flakes, it flakes... do what Super7 did with the Chrome Silverhawks and put out the disclaimer that it
is delicate and has the potential to damage if articulated.

Let the buyers decide if they want it with that potential issue... don't just cancel it.

Hi all, after nearly a two year wait for different reasons, I've finally managed to get a Battle Cat and He Man for very close to retail price, I'd love to make some kind of display base for them in 1/6, or better still buy something that would suit, I've looked at a number of different options including the foam 'backing boards' for aquariums/reptile tanks but was wondering if anyone has seen anything more 'masters' themed ie cobblestones/green/blue rocks?
Regards, Mark

I wish there were better pictures is he really dropping this Thursday? Usually they put out more pictures before the drop.
I think Spider-Man had a similar drop in September - one zoomed-in closeup pic and then the PO a few days later.

Although, i think an earlier prototype was shown at a con or two.
